Some respondents are less than pleased. Will this finally be the straw the break's the redditor's back?

I really hate leftist fags, the whole Internet caters to them already and they're bitching about some meaningless shithole like it's the end of the world to them.
That's why they're so insanely aggressive about banning imaginary Nazis. They think it's as bad to a shitposter as it is to them, whereas most people couldn't give a shit less about being banned from peddit, and frankly they're doing someone a favor by banning them because it is a hive of retards and bugmen and schizoposters.

Reddit is just going to ban all the striking jannies who refuse to reopen their subs and replace them with other equally power-hungry and sexually deviant users.

A lot of the powermods were installed and/or promoted up the mod list through admin-backed coups against the prior owner of their subreddits, so it's not like this would be unprecedented.

This mod was posting in multiple places, apparently if you private the sub you can still message the mods so they're going to come back to like 100,000 "let me in" notes from people who have actual lives.

This is what needs to happen. I really hope Reddit doesn't back down.

I'm really not sure why the mods think they have any leverage here. Self-important neckbeards with too much time on their hands are an infinitely renewable resource on Reddit. There are more mods where you came from. It's not like it takes special qualifications to ban people for spurious reasons.

If they shoved every one of these degenerates into a gas chamber today, they'd have a full mod team again before lunch tomorrow.

Reddit never even sold silver or gold coins, what lazy fucks. All their paypiggies would have slapped cash hand over fist to get genuine Reddit Silver and Gold.
Why bother when redditards would pay real money for completely imaginary "Reddit Gold" worth absolutely nothing?

I can't get all the comments in the archive but the sub's about to be privated indefinitely so:

https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/1476rje/team_and_community_rnba_is_participating_in_the/

the NBA sub is full of normies, the championship could be decided tomorrow, and everyone in the thread is furious. They didn't see the poll, less than 1 percent of the users voted in it, and anyone defending the decision to private is getting downvoted with people asking Reddit to remove the mods. I think this is a good look at what the actual site users believe.

Anyone on peddit gets exactly what they fucking deserve.

The thread has about 1k upvotes and it's disingenuous to say it's overwhelmingly against the blackout.

Your mistake is to assume there are normies anywhere on Reddit.

>posting this "we made le internet le history, reddit!" post and then the next sub to go private is a gay furry porn sub about sucking yourself off

Poetic

Also: I'm predicting they'll wait one day for the average redditor to get dopamine withdrawal, then forcibly reopen the subreddits to thunderous applause
