Some great copes, such as "the evil 4channers ruined AI"Midjourney has a newish feature called 'describe', where you upload a picture and it describes it back to you. It was fun to try it on pictures of my family and friends to see what keywords it described them with. 'cottagecore', 'emotionally complex', 'intense laborer', 'dinopunk'(?), stuff like that. I also converted some of their portraits into illustrations, and they turned out surprisingly good. I might have finished my holiday shopping early this year.
But despite my better judgement, I tried the same things with a couple of my own selfies --my best selfies--and was pretty devastated by the keywords it chose, things like: 'pre-op', 'woman with facial hair', 'made of trash' (?!), 'gender bending', 'drag', stuff like that. Which sucks, because I picked pictures where I thought I actually kinda passed, selfies that reflected extensive prep and shaving and color correcting, portraits I was considering using as my new coming-out profile pics.
Then I thought maybe if I convert the selfies into illustrations, it would be a salve, since the pics of my friends became way more attractive in the rendered illustrations. But not for me. The results were exaggerated caricatures of drag queens/kings.Not the look I thought I was projecting...
And now I'm crawling under a rock. It will probably be awhile before I get enough confidence again to be seen in public. And even when I do, I don't know if I'll ever be able to trust my own assessment of how I look again.

Stupid question, has anyone applied to janny /r/kiwifarms ? If so, what happened? It says it is banned, but not for illegal or otherwise not allowed content, merely for being unmoderated. I'm not sure what the point would be, but it is there, so somebody set it up and abandoned it.

They like Bernie/AOC-tier candidates more than Hillary. David Brock has publicly admitted his PAC astroturfs the fuck out of reddit's politics.
There was a hilarious moment during the 2016 election where Hilldawg passed out in 68 degree weather at a 9/11 memorial, and because 9/11 was on a Sunday that year, nobody at the PAC (then called Correct The Record) had marching orders on how to spin her apparent health troubles. For about 18 hours /r/politics was effectively un-spun and redditors seethed about how awful of a candidate Hillary was and how stupid she looked getting chucked into a van by handlers and having her body double wander around the Upper West Side in Ozzy sunglasses to try and pretend nothing was going on. The next morning, it was back to 100% anti-Trump screeching, like nothing had happened the prior afternoon.
There's also that hilarious time the DNC's bots targeted the wrong thread during the 2020 Democratic primaries, and a bunch of bots shilling Kamala and calling Tulsi Gabbard a Russian plant started commenting on a meta thread about the subreddit instead of the debate live thread.

Now with the crackdown on non-NSFW subreddits using NSFW tags, r/OnlyFans has been forced to allow legitimately NSFW posts on the sub.
Not all hope is lost: there are now SFW and NSFW flairs, and any genuinely NSFW pics must have a fan in them somewhere. Anyone posting NSFW stuff that doesn't satisfy these rules will be permanently banned.
