Has this retard never heard about diseases transmitted via the fecal-oral route? It's a huge amount of diseases of all different classes: parasites (lots of worms), bacteria (anything that gives you diarrhea), and viruses (ever heard of that old poliovirus?) all use it! There's an obvious evolutionary reason that we find shit and the place it comes from gross; there be potential diseases in there mate! It's a big reason why we chlorinate pools: because people kept getting fucking crippled from polio. I get legit MATI at this level of ignorance speaking as an authority.
