Too many parents are just outright mental these days. Either the most smothering kind of helicoptering or neglectful to abusive levels with little in between. Sometimes alternating between the two between siblings. I fear for the generations that follow the Zoomers and the Alphas. The cycle of abuse is real, and while this might not be abuse in the classical "Dad's got the belt" sense, it is a different form. One that will no doubt be passed on possibly for generations to come.

These people are pathetic. I am in a family where something like half of us who show up for holidays are legit medical personnel and nobody at this point is masking.

We caught the coof in October from my husband's grandfather that had stage 4 cancer. Grandpa laughed and said he thought it was the flu, and I thought it was before he told us. We just ate chicken soup and watched TV in bed for a few days and then it was gone. I've had worse flues to be honest. These fuckers know that stress can make you more likely to get sick right? What pussies.

Supposedly she caught long COVID, and has been in bed for a year.

Another YouTuber recently visited her, and did a video about her and her husband caretaker.

It’s a sweet video. He talks about their deep love and how he’s optimistic and how he prayed with her (Heck, not particularly religious myself, but if I spent a year in bed with a mystery disease, I’d take all the prayers I could get!)

A cute little feel-good video.

Now you’d think the subreddit would like it, because “Muh advocacy” but nope. THE ZEROCOVID SUBREDDIT HATED IT!

Not going to post screencaps, cause it’s not that interesting, but post after post about how it was trash, f his religion, why didn’t he doompost more, she’s making too much money, and on and on.

A doctor pozzed with coof and still coming to work, lets his patients know this and gives them a choice. The blackrock-owned clinic surely appreciates bigly their employees making their own maverick yet fully transparent safety decisions for quick maneuverability and achieving service deliverables in high pressure environments.

I can think of a reason that doctor is at the hospital. Changing a pacemaker is HARD. Hell just messing with the heart is extremely difficult. Him taking time off is almost impossible

It's easy, the mask works as long as you have faith it works and belief that COVID is the most deadliest sin upon this earth. It's obvious the Dr did not believe this and his doubt cast a aura of super COVID that compromises masks of the believers. If only more people believed in the science then we can mask away the COVID non believers doubt. It's simple science and irrefutable. I bet you don't have corsi rosenthal boxes in every room in your house, decon airlock in your house and a science is science, love is real flag in your yard.

Have an 82 year old relative with COPD who just had the Wu flu as well for the first time.

Was symptom free after an week and it it never got worse than a cold.

Here's my question about all these covid basket cases- were they always this neurotic and obsessive about health issues? Is that who these freaks are? Or did the pandemic unlock a vast swathe of dormant mental illness is perviously "normal" individuals. Like, were these people the ones who were already going to the doctor once a week thinking something was giving them cancer?
