China will also sentence people to death for drug trafficking. That's why the gangs get Nigerians to do it because if they get picked off who cares. Plenty more of them in Lagos.

If there's enough money in something people will do it.

Only exception I can think of is if they let them stay the night with the condition that early in the morning they fuck off back home (otherwise you’ll have company till noon)

I’ve done it before where I don’t want to be a burden the next morning so I wake up say my goodbyes and hit the road (stopping to get breakfast on the way back)

We might have different browsing habits, but I can go decades without stumbling over CP and wouldnt even know where to start looking for it.

Please contrast that with pornography, which is not only easily available, but also being pushed in all its different forms nearly everywhere.
We want porn to be banned so it will be pushed into the underground and harm will be reduced. The same way it has been done with CP (which was insanely enough legal to produce a few decades ago).

Harm reduction. We are all aware that criminal activity cannot be completely stopped, and that tragedies cannot always be prevented. We still have mandatory seatbelts, we still decided to not freely sell heroine in pharmacies anymore, and we still decided to regulate the hygiene in food processing plants.

Obviously none of these approaches are perfect. That is fine.

That story is fucking insane, what is it with Redditors and not grasping the most basic human interactions? 99% of their stories, fake or not, could’ve been solved if they just fucking talked to someone.
„Hey, should we cook dinner together next time? Hey, how are we going to do breakfast tomorrow?“
But jfc the person inviting 4 people over to their house and then cooking breakfast only for herself and her husband has to be a turbo autist :story:

There is almost a 100% chance this is the case, The company behind the original "Girls Gone Wild" video series couldn't even properly vet everyone and got sued a few times over it, Redditors sure as hell aren't vetting that everyone they post is 100% legal.

I never even saw CP on 4chan after 2007 or so. They got pretty good at deleting that shit instantly. Too bad none of the altchans seem to be able to get their shit together in that regard which is why I more or less avoid them entirely these days.

Porn will always be on the internet, regardless of how many hoops or hurdles the United States or some other country will enforce. If you can't easily access it at a tap of button or the click of your mouse, then there will be alternative ways to find it. Always. It's like the prohibition of alcohol in the 1920s, the government thought they would rid the country of booze. When in reality, people were distilling moonshine in the woods and hosting underground bars. Something similar will happen when pornography is made harder to get in some places.

Reddit will absolutely ban porn sometime in the next year. A large percentage of porn on reddit is amateur and payment processors and shareholders typically demand that kind of content be removed over CSAM concerns.

It's why large publicly traded companies like Pornhub banned amateur content, eventually reddit's shareholders will demand they do the same.

And then reddit will lose 80% of its traffic and plummet in value. Porn is the single highest value of internet traffic and user engagement. There's a reason these websites did not remove porn for so long and when they finally did it was more of a shot in the neck than the foot. I.e. Tumblr, for one.
