Redditor's wife leaves town for 3 days, makes him food for the time she's gone, husband appreciates it and posts it on MadeMeSmile sub. Instead of realizing this is completely normal behavior in 90% of the world and likely even 30% of the U.S., and the type of woman who would do this is almost certainly a stay at home wife, they still melt the fuck down insulting him. Jannies have to lock the post.

This really isn't helping fight back the "redditors have never been in a loving relationship" stigma.
Relationships are nuanced and you can immediately tell who has never been in one. Men can cook, they aren't as helpless in the kitchen as one would think, but if I was going away I'd make my husband food too because I know he'd just be content with PB&J for months and I want him to eat healthier than that.
And, yknow, the love. The thing that makes you do thoughtful stuff for someone and not expect anything back. Foreign concept for Redditors.

most men old enough to get married are capable of making or purchasing some sort of food even if it's just a frozen pizza,
Quite true.

rather than relying on 3-day old home-made TV dinners
Note that "relying" is baggage that you are bringing into the conversation. The Reddit OP did not say, "I rely on this food - otherwise I would go hungry."

I hope you'll take a moment to reflect on why you made that shit up.

because they are too fucking stupid to work the oven without burning the damn house down.
Here again: are you making up stuff that isn't even remotely implied by the reddit post. Seriously. Take a step back and be a little introspective and ask yourself why you do this.

You're doing the same thing that British journalist did when she interviewed Peterson. He would say, "X" and she would reply, "so you're saying Y!"

it's not normal
Obviously - that's why it warranted a post.

and certainly not something to publicize.
Well see, the "it" that you're saying is not worthy of publication, is all the baggage that you hallucinated - the stuff you made up inside of your own mind.

The "it" in the actual post is someone doing something nice for their spouse, because they love them. The "it" that you're talking about is, how did you put it? "[he is] too fucking stupid to work the oven"

Yes, if you are actually too fucking stupid to work the oven, then don'g publicize that. But if you have someone in your life who loves you, then sure go ahead and publicize that ...and just ignore people who twist it into some fanfic about ovens burning down houses.

But if you have someone in your life who loves you, then sure go ahead and publicize that
Only on fucking reddit, please. There's making a mountain out of a molehill and then there's that absolutely fucking retarded reddit thread. As @Sunflower Samurai said, there's whole subs dedicated to meal prep and they're all faggots in general, you'd think they eat shit up like what that OP posted. The times they sure are a-changing.

Fair comments.
In my defense, it's reddit, and assuming the worst about redditors has always been a safe approach in the past, but maybe I'm being to harsh.
(But I still think 3 days of lunch and dinner in plastic boxes is weird).

Kind of funny that you're doing the very thing that we're making fun of, innit? Point and laugh, everyone! You sound just like the comments on the thread. There's no need to antagonize the OP when there's enough bitter retardation flowing in the comments reacting to a simple idea and a photo.

All he did was post a pic of food in boxes with a caption and it brought out the lions. Somehow your wife pre-packaging your homemade meals makes you a giant faggot I guess. I didn't get the memo.

Theres a cottage industry of youtube "meal prep" recipies where most take less than 30 or 20 minutes in actual cooking/prep time to make pretty decent batches for one person and yet these redditors immediatly assume its a sumissive tradwife who does nothing in life besides please her man
When all you have is intersectional feminism, every problem is patriarchy and men being incompetent.
My wife sometimes does meal prep for me when she goes away, and I hate to say I often throw some out, because I want to eat other things, I worked as a chef for over a decade, and she is a mediocre cook. But I know better than to tell her to stop doing nice things for me if she wants to, because I love her. "Your cooking is mediocre, please stop" is the key phrase to a failed marriage.

that's how i read your post, that it was a critique of the reddit retards, and people who think that a man in america or anywhere else might not know how to feed themselves. i've appreciated the different points of view on something like this, and i still find it almost unbelievable that the biggest difference of opinions, the place with the most varied viewpoints on events and concepts, is terrible bigoted nazi hatesite kiwifarms.

you get so used to redditors never having experienced a truly loving relationship in their lives, be it familial, friends, or romantic and it's easy to see other people as feeling the same way.

It's just impossible to have different viewpoints within a system like reddit where updoots/downdoots dictate if you can actually see a comment. The system is broken on a foundational level if its intent is to foster coherent discussions. If its intent is to foster echo chambers though, by all means, functioning superbly.

I still remember when the meta for posting on reddit was (still is?) whenever you posted a comment you were supposed to go and downvote every other 1 vote comment to 0 so yours would be at the top.

Problem i have with it is that most of these comments sound like they were written by males or by males without penises. There's a ton of outrageous reddit shit posted ITT on the daily but somehow that particular post makes me both mad and confused. As i said before, it's just some wifey leaving food for her man, like you said your wife does for you and how my girlfriend does sometimes for me, i can't think of anything more mundane than that, should've been an easy karma-whoring post. Instead they're at this nigger's throat and make it seem like he's the most misogynistic piece of shit on earth. It's an over-reaction even by reddits low, low standards. Very strange.

This really isn't helping fight back the "redditors have never been in a loving relationship" stigma.
This is so retarded. I'd do this for a woman myself in the same situation. It's such a harmlessly kind thing to do, just a little "I love you and even though I'm gone a couple days I still love you" thing. Only the absolute vermin that are redditors could possibly take offense at this.

Am I developing too fast ?? And did I have a period ? NSFW !!Trans and Thriving (self.MtF)

I’m just over a month on hormones

estradiol valerate 6mg Decapeptyl 11.25 mg injection every 3 months Cyproterone for the first 2 weeks

I’ve got A cups and am close to needing getting another bra. I have to wear a bra to hide my chest.

I have constant mood swings and have cravings for pickles and chocolate all the time

Now Periods ???

Obviously I didn’t have bleeding but omg everything else 👀

For the last 4 days I swear I’ve had period like symptoms 🤷‍♀️

1 day I had some tummy pain and mood swings

2 day I had the same thing but worse, brain fog, anger beyond belief and complete emotional breakdown I cried while a friend was talking to me about work ( a place I actually like🤷‍♀️👀

Day 3 full on period??? I was in my bed crying while having a full range of mood swings while holding my stomach with a hot water bottle I had it so hot that I got tiny burn marks on my tummy but had to just to get some relief

( my girl friends all say that sounds exactly like a period 👀🤷‍♀️

Now day 4 after the period thing 🤷‍♀️ Thank god I don’t have a uterus !! all I could think about was literally getting pregnant 👀 it was the only thing on my mind! I wanted a big strong man to hold me down throw me around and just raw dog me I was on Grindr like 20 times that day only reason I didn’t get smashed was I didn’t want a std and I had work meeting

In a car drive to work I had a itch i went to scratch it and I hit my tit

Next thing I know I pull over because my boobs, neck, chest, back ,tummy ,thighs were tingling and felt beyond pleasurable ! Simply touching my stomach or boob or thing or chest made me feel like i was about to cum

It kept getting worse to the point where thinking about a guy or cologne or thinking about about myself in a compromised position made my body tingle

Sorry for the TMI post i just don’t know what the hell happened the last few days and I don’t know how or why everything is changing so fast and really need advice ?!

Just a quick edit ! Thank you all for your support and advice ! It really is appreciated thank you girls xx

Monkeypox was never going to be the next covid it's a sexually transmitted disease
It's not that it was ever going to be one, but that the journos were hyping it up like they did covid in an attempt to scare people yet again. Once it became obvious what the truth of the situation was, this died, and quickly. I don't think star was really saying it would ever compare to covids spread either.
