A mix of bots and man hating.

I'm sure it can be taken back to many different things leading to it but having so many "women empowerment" subs that are just man hating circlejerks that don't have to abide by site wide rules at all doesn't help things.

Even the ones that aren't supposed to be about women end up being so. AITA, relationship_advice, etc. The ones that actually are supposed to be female centric are even worse, of course, but their numbers are so heavily fake that it's impossible to know their real reach.

TwoXChromosomes for example has over 14 million members. How many people are online right now, at 9pm central time? 750. So 0.005% are using it in primetime hours.

Compare it to a forum with real people like Somethingawful forums, with its 180,000 members, how many are online right now? 3,600. Nearly 5x as many while being 78x smaller.

I feel sad that the Frasier autismo post is fake. If someone could actually become erudite watching Frasier, it would be neat.
A lot of the humor in Frasier was about Frasier and Niles being afraid of being called out for not actually being as cultured as they portrayed themselves, and the Frasier autismo post is a neat inversion of that. Dude turned his pants shitting Thomas the tank engine tard cousin into a young aesthete.

Basically, they are trying to ruin the lives of a married couple and their 8 kids solely cos they're pretty hardcore Christians, and somehow this is OK with the people that run Reddit.

The troon (EDIT, pooner) that runs that sub has a 4 year old child. I'd be far more concerned about them tbh.

This implies the redditor told their mother about the duck bondage writing account. And/or mother is an avid AO3/fanfiction.net user for this specific fanbase who has no issues letting her child know what kind of porn she likes.

This is missing context. The reason why they were reported to CPS is because their baby probably has Erb's palsy because of a botched home birth on a RV and they refuse to take the infant to the hospital. The worst part is I'm pretty sure this is the rare reddit story that actually happened. This user's profile is filled to the brim with personal info and posts about her deranged anthropomorphic duck crossover ships. Here's a picture of her with her mother. She lists her own age as 19 somewhere, so the mother was 16 when the redditor was born.

What the actual fuck. I feel bad for her, she never even had a fucking chance to turn out semi-normal.
