I was searching for Kamalas new VP Tim Walz, and this reddit post on r/MadeMeSmile popped up. It's infuriating; even the apolitical subs are political.
This is a legit bot campaign. Call me "weird," but it is very "weird" and unorganic.

Edit: After further reading, it appears the entire subreddit is botted scamala shilling.

Reddit is mostly astroturfing, bots, and spam at this point. It's so easy to manipulate your way onto reddit's frontpage. Just post low-effort click-bait on subs like r/pics and r/MadeMeSmile, or post lefist rage bait on subs like r/facepalm, r/clevercomebacks, r/MurderedByWords, and r/WhitePeopleTwitter, and watch your post soar to the front page.

IIRC One of the top posts on r/pics was of trump with just a mocking title, nothing else. (I don't remember fully so a detail might be wrong) It got reddit front page and 96k upvotes until the post author flipped in the comments his opinion and pointed out how much of a echo chamber the subreddit is to bash trump, and how easy it is to upvote farm as long as you post "The narrative" the libtards there want. Pretty sure it was within a hour or 30 min from posting that the r/pics mods took down the post.
This is also mainly due to the moderation of these popular subreddits too, The same people mod hundreds of subs, and have to be some of the worst people out there, all the while their little echo chamber tells them how empowering they are.
Their has to be a statistical correlation between being a reddit mod, and having a mental illness, the braindead takes these moderators have is insane, and they are not afraid to make every single person in their unrelated subreddit know because they are that insufferable.

I'm pretty sure this has been posted already but this clip just illustrates how disconnected from reality these people are
r/Anti Work Mod Fox Interview

In that case surely dogs are also objectively attractive because bestiality exists and dog fucking porn has gotten more attention than I ever will. See how this is a retarded argument?

Looking at MonarchOfReality's account he's the most stereotypical Redditor, his account reeks of vagina repellant. Probably why he's shielding disgusting unwanted fatties- they're the only women he has any chance with.

Had this unfortunate, not at all passing gremlin pop up on the front page showing off his cat and thought "this is the perfect encapsulation of a redditor", chuckled to myself and said good day. Until that nagging feeling in my rotten soul made me want to look at their profile.

They repeatedly make posts about their phantom "period pain" (yes, they are trans and not just buttfuck ugly) in between making posts about having dreams where their brain was removed. The irony is just writing itself at this point.
Thanks for the clarification. I thought it was a hideously ugly, jewish girl. Kudos on passing, i guess.

Reddit's CEO is apparently musing about paywalling certain subreddits. It's honestly fascinating how much he hates his own site.

Reddit CEO Steve Huffman has hinted that in future some subreddits could be paywalled, as the company seeks to devise new sources of income.

Huffman raised the prospect during an earnings call in which he said Reddit would also be testing AI-powered search results later this year …

Reddit’s drive for cash

Reddit has been very focused on making money both in the run-up to its IPO, and since.

The first big news on this front was more than a year ago, when the company started charging developers for API calls, forcing the closure of the popular third-party app Apollo. That led to wide-scale protests that the company had to forcibly shut down.

It was subsequently revealed that the company had signed a deal with Google to allow Reddit posts to be used as training data, which subsequently saw the company blocking all other search engines.

AI search could generate ad revenue

Engadget reports that Huffman now sees AI-powered search as a potential revenue source.

During the call, the Reddit co-founder said the company would begin testing AI-powered search results later this year [and] that search could one day be a significant source of advertising revenue for the company.

Some subreddits could be paywalled

More worryingly, Huffman also hinted that in future some subreddits could be paywalled.

He suggested that the company might experiment with paywalled subreddits as it looks to monetize new features. “I think the existing, altruistic, free version of Reddit will continue to exist and grow and thrive just the way it has,” Huffman said. “But now we will unlock the door for new use cases, new types of subreddits that can be built that may have exclusive content or private areas, things of that nature.”

Spez is putting you faggots on notice. He needs that chedda and you WILL be paying for all those bait subreddits and communities that are so sanitized by jannies that you will never be able to post your true thoughts. Bold emphasis is mine of course.

I have doubts that this could work in practice, primarily because a big part what makes reddit useful is the ability for anyone to comment, you'd lose the people who have knowledge but aren't going to spend money to share it. Then there's moderation; is reddit going to pay for moderation because its a paid premium experience, unlikely as they just want money but then who is going to spend the money to moderate ie who's going to pay to volunteer for a company; or will moderators get free access in which case how do you get the moderators in the first place?

What will likely happen is these paid subreddits will end up being just like the wave of dead subreddits, you'll occasionally see a post that might get some interaction but it's not people's go to place. They may get a ton of people for the first month or two trying it out(especially if there's a free trial) but very few people will be interested in paying and the subreddits will die down until no one is left, after all if there's no content then why would you keep paying and it would enter a death spiral as more people have that same thought.

9to5Mac’s Take

This is another move likely to anger Redditors. While the platform is a commercial enterprise, its value derives almost entirely from freely offered user content. That means Redditors feel at least some sense of ownership in a community endeavour, so the company needs to tread carefully when it comes to monetization at user expense.
They finally realized the true value of their site which is 90% political bots and porn spammers. Pay up, kiwis.

If some guy from the Internet allah ackbar suicide bombs the entire Final Fantasy IX development team, you heard it from me first. #FF9Killer

So I was on Square Enix Music's official channel listening to some classic Final Fantasy music. SEM has been uploading entire FF soundtracks, track by track to their YouTube channel and their most recently completed upload was FF9's.

Most people would listen to these classic music, be nostalgic for the past, and share their fondness of the game and the music in the comments section. With one notable exception:

time to be autistic.jpg
I'm not sure the comments section of YouTube music clips is the right place for FF9 literary criticism/essays but okay. Let's take a closer look at this user.

"#FreePalestine"
When was the last time you saw a Palestine-supporter and thought "he seems like a reasonable well-adjusted individual?" Yeah, this isn't going to end good. At all.

ff9 criticism 1.jpg
While the early tracks had minor/small essays about mainly nothing, it is track 9 where we get first taste of his multiple massive wall of texts. FF9 has about 100 tracks and he has commented on most of them in a similar way.

ff9 criticism 999.jpg
This is what he has to say on the final track's upload.

If we search "Everything Wrong with Final Fantasy IX" we get a few hits including:

His essay on FanFiction.net:

This guy didn't just write an essay, he wrote a full fledged book (207,962 words).

His bio on FanFiction.net
fan fiction bio.jpg
Nothing says supporting the working class like sitting your fucking ass at home writing essays about a 30 year old video game for teenagers. You are literally a Marxist parasite stereotype. Without FF9, you (appear to) have nothing.

His twitter:

His deviantart:

Him annoying a few people on a forum:

Him annoying FF fans on reddit:

Speaking of reddit, his reddit:
"Eww FFIX" is literally his personality.

on the spectrum.jpg
We know you're on the spectrum. We can tell from your obsession with FF9.

tv tropes.jpg
I don't think TV tropes are anti-communist... but I think TV Tropes are faggots so fuck them.

ukraine bad.jpg
He's pro-Hamas but not anti-Russia/not pro-Ukraine? I'll give him some credit here for going against the libshit crowd.

Confirmed virgin.

yasuke.jpg
Oh, he subscribes to the "The nigger was a samurai" narrative, despite Japanese people, who you assume would know their own history, never making that claim until a half-White/half-Jew fan fiction writer (I wonder if he has a fanfiction.net account too) popped up to help sell Assassin's Creed: Shadows. Now the validity of his criticism of FF9 is called into question.

wikipedia.jpg
...but you just cited Wikipedia... as a reliable source... about the nigger samurai... who was never a samurai... are you also schizophrenic? In an older post he says that "Wikipedia is edited by the CIA and full of anti-socialist bullshit."

I'll stop the reddit screenshots there. His reddit account is mainly boring political sperging or FF9-hating. To be fair, he doesn't seem like a full far-leftist with him saying things like women can rape too, 9/11 is an inside job, Western media is lies, and calls Ukraine supporters "simps." He doesn't reveal anything about his personal life that I've seen. With the exception of "I’m over twenty, BTW."

I've only played a bit of FF9 and I liked what I saw. But since I didn't play much I can't comment on whether his criticism of FF9's plot is entirely valid or extremely minor unfair nitpicking or a mix of both. I think he has the right to hate FF9. I don't give a shit that he hates FF9 and I don't care about his political opinions. I don't think there's anything wrong with writing a 200000 word essay on why he hates FF9. Unless it negatively impacts his daily life and it probably does so I change my mind, he is wrong for writing that essay.

But he is a massive autistic faggot and was deserving of, my autistic (to be fair) attention for one reason: for writing wall of text FF9 hate pieces on the comments section of FF9 music clips on YouTube. If he didn't, I wouldn't be writing this post.

I just wanted to listen to classic retro game music, fucker.

I love watching that subreddit. It’s a hilarious mix of 14-year-old autists disgusted with what they learned in health class, and 35-year old-virgins egging them on. They are pretty based about porn, though.

Anyway, this guy’s desire for a “separate antisex culture” makes me think of the Shakers, an offshoot of the Quaker movement that believed sex is the original sin, practiced extreme chastity, and has only 2 remaining members as a result.

Back when I was 12 or 13, I thought comment sections of youtube had value. I ended up getting in an argument about taxation with someone who couldn't divide 1 million by 5 and confidently stated repeatedly that someone making 1 million dollars would pay 20k in taxes at a 20% flat tax.
I am now older and wiser. I don't believe a flat tax would actually help America. I still think about that guy who really was adamant about that point and I don't think I've left a youtube comment since. You'd be better off arguing in the comment sections of news articles with boomers who type 5 words per minute with one finger on each hand.

Redditor is so terrified that the evil orange man will take away his masks that he's even dreaming about it.

Another retard thinks the mask ban will be used as an excuse by police to frisk niggers (as if they need any more).

States taking away your rights is gay, but the same fags complaining about how unjust this is are almost certainly the same morons who advocated for the mask mandates back in 2020.
