I don't know. Accusing someone of molesting you (even as a joke) is beyond the pale. If the kid were 12 or something I'd do what you're suggesting, but he's 16. That's old enough to know why that's something you simply don't do. There's also the fact he double-downed on it when confronted after his friends left, which is even less excusable.
Yeah, the story's probably fake and none of this happened, but I still enjoy AITA stories even while knowing that. They're kind of like moral hypotheticals, "what would be the right thing to do in this situation?". Kind of like the Trolley Problem.

The reason is that Redditors are hedonistic. They are infatuated with Communist ideology because they believe in the idea of not having to work. That is why r/antiwork blew up the way it did, Redditors are just lazy. Hedonism goes hand in hand with weird fetishes, and it turns out that cuck stories blend in just enough so that the normies don't notice the fetish aspect of the real life event that definitely happened and is 100% not fanfiction.

This is legitimately an interesting subject for me. GamerFromMars did a video recently on Mia Khalifa. She talks a huge talk about hating the porn industry and porn in general, but still uses the stage name that got her to be famous instead of her real name because of marketability (and also starting an only fans). She then also compalins whenever people bring this up in her super serious sports commentary interviews.
Lana Rhodes did a similar thing where she hates porn and the industry around it, but still uses her porn name for clout while demanding all her pornos get taken down despite all the shit she willingly signed up for. It's a bit of a fucked situation where they want to have their cake and eat it too, and I'd be legitimately scared if they set a precedent where you can retroactively remove consent of being in media because you don't like it anymore especially when it reeks of hypocrisy coming from people who only made their name because of the pornos.
I have no ideas how this is going to hash out, but I guess coomers should learn to archive and save local backups.
This is a legit thing that happens on mainstream subs like /r/askreddit, /r/amitheasshole, and /r/AMA all the time. IDK where you have been but the reddit cuck bait post was an old trope 10 years ago. Never underestimate the the coomer menace especially on the subs that are "this is totally real" and "just hypothetically" side of reddit.

Autism is indeed a large part of it like in any community that revolves around children's toys/media.
To add more to the topic, Bionicle community has never been as massive as Sonic or Transformers and the community has been centered around only a few websites which later metastasized into tranny centrals as the primary moderators/admins of these boards trooned out and anyone at least semi-normal left or was banned (for some funny perspective on one site two biological brothers were mods and they both trooned out).
(Onua is the black bionicle btw)
To make things even more autistic, Greg Farshtey, one of the primary writers for Bionicle also stayed around after the toyline ended for few more years, replying to some random questions from fans. As it was quickly discovered he had tendency to just reply 'sure, why not' to suggestions and since he was considered the one who decides canon, it led to various mentally ill people harassing him with their shitty ideas so that they could be canonized.
All in all, the entire "Bionicle Community" is a clusterfuck riddled with constant drama and extreme autism. There have been also some much smaller bionicle fan groups (like /biog/ general on /toy/) that are for most of the time openly hostile to the larger bionicle groups and they are less trannified but still super autistic.
