Mine didn't even allow you to use sunglasses or caps, and they encouraged the men to have short hair (altough I almost always had long hair when going there, and barring some callouts from the principal, she didn't try to pressure me to cut it). Seeing how many people dress when left to their own devices, I would argue that it was for the bestI have no doubt that people who get unusally upset over needing a dress code are either lazy smucks or want attention.
I honestly wish mine had a stricter dress code so I didn't have to see kids coming to school in chokers, of all things.
