Depends on the place although most of these I've actually been in are drive through with window service, whether you drive into the actual building or whether the window is on the side like a fast food restaurant. I remember one that usually had people on horseback in line as well as the cars. It also had a gun and ammo shop so you could load up on whiskey and bullets if you so desired, although it was at a different window, perhaps for legal reasons.

This wasn't in Texas but you can guess what kind of state it was. It was one of the most redneck and most badass things I've ever seen.

theres some funny stuff there and there seems to be some self awareness among the posters that they are losers for posting on reddit at all, but still much coping about how the sub is still a sacred place safe from the unwashed reddit masses. I occasionally search the sub's history when looking for a book rec because theres some people with decent literary taste, or at least there used to be.

Sometimes people post interesting, weird photos But its way too much "fuck this horrible world for being a neoliberal where my genius isn't recognized and I have to be a wage slave 23/m". They have their own lingo, or rather slightly different lingo than the bog standard le reddit shit, and it can sound kind of pithy at first when you start reading until you see its the same posts over and over. Its also not niche enough to be worth digging into like r/OnA was... The lore is straightforward, and both of the podcasters have learned their lesson and stopped participating in the subreddit to defend their honor when they get made fun of, so not as lolcowish as it could be or used to be.

Its not nearly as critical as trannies as it used to be either, probably because the mods are scared of having the place completely destroyed by the tranny admin force. The one thing I'll give them is that there seems to be a recognition that England is a shithole and that nobody from there has opinions worth listening to. I saw a post about some nurse who killed a bunch of babies (allegedly) and the discussion was around the fact that the woman appeared to have been completely denied any sense of due process, and that anecdotally, posters with british friends were horrified that none of their friends would even read a piece in the New Yorker that was an investigation of sorts into trials and media coverage. Seeing this play out on Reddit was very validating.

r/stims is pretty good too but seems to just be full of degenerate coomers who get high and jerk it for 8 hours straight, no exaggeration. Throw in the odd ‘what am I doing with my life post’ and it can be pretty entertaining.
