I can't remember exactly when I stopped watching RCR, but it was at least 2 years ago. The novel aspect of his early content was bizarre sexual humor and gonzo journalism mixed in with reviewing, well, regular everyday cars. Most everything he's posted after the first few years lost that appeal and felt too samey for me. His NYC Taxi videos are one of my favorites for being unique and interesting.
