You could pass Maximum Overdrive off as a documentary to these retards.
It sort of was. A documentary on what happens when you feed Stephen King five kilos of cocaine and put a camera in his hand.

PornHub's Alabama child trafficking case revealed that PornHub staff not only knew that child porn was hosted on the website, they shared it among themselves for a laugh, kept it hosted for years, and even surreptitiously applied tags so that it would be easier for degenerates to find, driving clicks and revenue. Not much more to be expected from a site where "barely legal" is a top promoted tag.

Of course, top minds of Reddit refuse to believe this has happened -- it's all a psyop! What will they do if they can't jerk it to "petite 18 year old cheerleader stepsister" porn?!

Genuinely cannot understand the outrage against the ID law for online porn. You needed an ID to buy porn in person for decades. But suddenly websites were allowed to do it with a pinky promise of clicking "I'm really 18" and it's kosher. When anyone with respectable brain patterns figured out that's stupid and change it, suddenly it's censorship.

The only thing that requires an ounce of extra thought revolves around how the ID is acquired/stored. But even that is a red herring. You need ID's to buy prescription drugs, alcohol and guns on the internet. If suddenly those places started saying "actually it's hard to sort out this whole ID business, so we're just going to stop", would we allow them to continue their business? Fuck no.

The whole issue is something that should've been solved in the internet's infancy.

You also used to need ID for R rated games and movies, I can't wait to have my personal identity permenantly tied to anywhere you can say "fuck" on the internet.
Pornhub's parent company owns a major age verification service so this'll be funding them.
Also, I feel that this is just going to create a perverse incentive for discord grooming channels. It's the same trick pedophiles always used to use, offer them something illicit to get them close.

I don't know if r/roastme has been mentioned but this community seems to produce good content like this post. Unfortunately, most of this redditor's responses to being roasted seemingly resulted in some lulz-worthy tard rage and jannies scrubbed them.

Oh, and some butthurt over being body-shamed despite knowingly posting in a subreddit known to insult others.

I don't want to put my ID into a computer so I can use the internet in any fashion. If your children are accessing pornography it's a parenting problem and no amount of ID can change that. Any official solution put in place will quickly require ID to be attached to everything you do and that would put many of us in prison.

Becuase I don't trust the Government or Corporations with my information. They're going to sell it or get hacked and lose it.

This is fine. Only absolute retarded coomers would upload their ID to access porn, and if they are the only ones affected negatively by the laws that is acceptable to me. Kids cannot buy a VPN, and do not have an ID to upload.

I think online porn is genuinely demonic and it is rotting the foundation of our societies.

More concerning is forcing us to be ID'd for general internet use, which is where I see this going, which will eventually lead to the outlawing of VPNs and total loss of online anonymity.
