In case you don't have any woman who could be a wet nurse for a baby in your circle of people, you could buy breast milk.
In general strangers don't become wet nurses.

I really want to argue against this, but I really can't find anything to disagree with. Reminds me when I was a kid and my dad used to tell me that if I saw pictures of naked women on the computer screen, that I should close the browser and go to another website... a bit silly writing it down, I know, but it was definetly a great advice to give to a 8 year old like me.

It just makes me wish that the adult content wasn't so blended in with the family-friendly stuff. I don't mind the easily accessible porn sites that aren't intrusive to your daily life, but seeing similar content on Facebook or YouTube just rubs me the wrong way. It's not even just the user-generated content, it's the ads that supposedly got approved by the website owners that grinds most of my gears.

I sound like I want to take the freedom on what people can post online, but really, I just want websites that allow minors in to not be the same websites that host adult content. Either make a different site that only allows adults like here, or idk, make the NSFW tag more distinct and punishable if not followed. But alas, that's just a dream for a perfect world.

Late and gay, but what insane mental gymnastics. Getting up, heating the water, then mixing the formula, then cooling it, then making it into a bottle (all with a screaming, uneasy baby in the background) is faster than just pulling a boob out? Women can breastfeed and baby can feed while asleep.

I know that type. Those same women will refuse to co-sleep because "ItS uNsAfE", have a nursery in the other side of the house because "MuH iNdEpEnDeNt BaBy" and sleep training with Crying it Out when the maternity leave is up, gaslighting you that the baby will not be traumatized by the parents not responding to his/her pleas. Same goes to young mothers, insisting that the child will be fine at daycare at 6 weeks of age when the mothers cry at the unfairness of this separation.

Instead of lullabies you have noice machines, instead of rocking you have electrical bassinets like the Snoo, instead of nursing to sleep you have pacifiers and instead of interactive play time, you have the Lovevery playset.

This is an exclusively American mindset.

Formula is ridiculously expensive and not covered by healthcare elsewhere, so parents make due with donor milk, an oversupling or weaning mother or early cows milk introduction. Houses are small; the baby will sleep in the parents room, even the parents bed so everyone can get some sleep. Babies will be given wooden spoons and aluminum foil to play because toys are so expensive and clutter a smaller house easily. Working mothers consistently demand extended maternity leaves and half work days instead of more spots in daycare.

If there's one type of Redditor you never trust, is the American mother. As @LinkinParkxNaruto[AMV] states, it's fascinating how much they want to autonomize the child-rearing process, and put slave-waging before their kin.

How sad does one have to be that being a mod on a subreddit makes you write "I poured my own blood, sweat and tears into my (free) work" types of posts? And the people riding the mod's dick with long ass posts.

Maybe I'm just overthinking, but I understand that some people don't have a lot going in their life and they cling to whatever little they have. But being a subreddit mod is just something I don't understand.

The ID laws aren’t going to affect the social media porn nor the weird grooming videos on youtube. Just porn on websites clearly intended for adults.

as far as reddit consensus goes, they usually prefer if the baby is aborted and was never born in the first place, unless perhaps it is being birthed by an ilegal mexican or somalian refugee in western europe.

Based on what I’ve read I feel like a lot of these women are pornsick (or equivalent) and fear the changes their body will go through. Which when you think about it is even more deranged than just being lazy. I see a lot of talk about concern for changes in breast and nipple size and shape. Either these women were never prepared for the changes by other women in their life or they really believe they can look 25 for the rest of their lives and cling to it dearly. I really honestly cannot come up with another reason to avoid breastfeeding than total vanity (barring medical issues and pain and injury).

Oh no, I understand that. What I meant to say is that I don't mind websites intended for adults to be easily acessible for anyone, including minors, as that can easily be solved with good parenting. I just wish that if a website like YouTube who allows kids and teens to watch and make videos, to not be the same place that hosts weird grooming videos or ads that can show on their feed.

Age restriction exists, but It's not nearly distinct or enforced enough imo. I still remember seeing some videos about a tutorial on how to wear a condom with actual live footage of the guy doing it, and the video wasn't video restricted because apparently it fell into the "sex education" category or whatever that is. I dunno if it still exists, but any minor could just watch it and YouTube apparently was fine with it. Hence why I think the Age Restriction tag should actually be worth something, or that there should be a "Youtube Adults" website that allows any type of content, with its main one banning any type of nsfw like Tumblr did that one time. But again, just a dream for a perfect world.
