Seems likely that "democracy" and "human rights" meant leftists in power, and "political correctness" there. (Assuming there is no international or irl v. online difference in scientific ethics) this “survey” they’ve done is effectively null & void (and the spring for a big violation hearing). “Human methods” research of any kind requires a baseline of consent (ie the minimal knowledge that an interview/experiment is being conducted). Failing that, it is (at least in University circles) null. This was just a empty psyop in terms of academic value
