Saw some expat whining about having to wait A WHOLE MONTH!! for some appointments, having to explain her issues more than once and being suggested group therapy instead of immediately being moved to the top of the waiting list for 1-on-1 therapy for some mood swings and low empathy (in a country with a healthcare system as slow/overloaded as the nhs), so I wanted to check her profile to see what country she's from.

Didnt find the country other than some kinda balkan, but did find shes an art student (lol) as well as..

Imagine sinking so low someone called 'poopyrick' is right to berate you.

Its honestly just amazing that on reddit you can see any normal albeit somewhat cringy or annoying post/comment, and click on their profile and have like a 50% chance of finding some form of degeneracy, schizophrenia or both. This is honestly a pretty mild example. Up that to 95% of their avatar has some form of pride flag...

Either that or theyre heavily involved in some kinda 'snark' subreddit, which is basically just kiwifarms but for leftist women, or something else equally embarrassing

There is so much fail with this car story, but given that it's a Nissan Altima, this isn't too surprising: / Archive

  • Guy drives a 2021 Nissan Altima
  • Lives in Los Angeles
  • Still owes $18k on the car loan
  • While he's still making car payments, he downgrades the car insurance to liability-only
  • It gets stolen shortly after the insurance change
  • Owner stops making payments and car is listed up for repossession
  • Police find the car a week ago, it is totaled and is not driveable
  • Guy also has $10k in credit card debt
  • Only makes $500/week
Yep, that's typical Nissan Driver budgeting.
Beans, rice and blowies behind dumpsters for years to come.

Snark/lolcow subs are infinitely more insane than KF. They don’t seem to realize that you can laugh at someone without genuinely hating them, and the mods oftentimes just allow people to run wild and harass the subject of the sub without any repercussions.

Redditors in the Leica sub are assmad the only mod is trying to enforce a "No Politics" rule in the wake of some big price increases due to tariffs. This seems like a rare measured response from a Reddit mod, and the redditors are not having it.

For those not familiar, Leica cameras are among the most expensive of the major brands. They're great cameras, but very much in the category of luxury goods. This is a sub full of rich consoomers who love to show off how much disposable income they have. Now they're mad they can't farm that sweet Orange Man Bad karma while they're at it.

1: Are leica's camera really THAT good? Like what's so great about them?

2: who the fuck cares what a 32 year old brooklynite has to say about trump on a camera subreddit

I swear to god, this is why literally everyone alive shits on Redditors for being knuckle-dragging, dung-eating, celsius IQ mongoloids.

The old mechanical ones are worth it, yes. The new digital ones, you're paying $3k minimum (they can easily go up to $30k depending on how you option them out) for a digital camera that's worse than what comes built into most flagship phones. Like Harleys or "luxury" clothes, it isn't about being a better product anymore, it's about being a flashy expensive thing to show how much disposable income you have.

Old, mechanical film Leicas were the professional tools back in the 50s and 60s, so they're built well and will last decades with routine service. Only time will tell for the newer models. In recent years they've become status symbols for showboating "influencers" and "content creators" and prices have skyrocketed accordingly. Leica users are notorious for showing off their gear at every conceivable opportunity.

You're right, no one should give a shit what a 32-year-old Brooklynite has to say about Trump on a camera subreddit. But, this an unholy combination of attention-whoring redditors and Leica shooters, who have just been told they can't shit up an apolitical space with their BS. My sides are in orbit over the fact that bunch of champagne-socialist "eat-the-rich" retards happen to have 3-4 figures with of disposable income to spend on luxury status symbols.

Randomly had reddit's stock price pop back into my head so I went to see how it was doing:

Barely any movement. In just one day, the stock fell 4.18%.

Not a total disaster but it's so middling for a tech stock. Ever since they had that big controversy in February with redditors on BlackPeopleTwitter openly calling for the death of the sitting president they've cratered and middled out.

Why would you even invest in this company to begin with? What does reddit produce or offer besides astroturfed lefty media? Every innovation they've tried to make has flatlined. All of the cool things they were known for like Secret Santa no longer exist. r/place, one of the coolest things they ever did, got a second run and all it amounted to was just bot accounts fighting other bot accounts.

There is zero enthusiasm for their IPO because in twenty years they've never, ever made the company profitable. Steve Huffman is a retard who pays hundreds of useless employees Bay Area salaries and then wonders why his glorified link aggregator is millions in the hole forever. There is no purpose to this company. It should cease to exist.

The only value currently is ai training data. They partnered with Microsoft and announced it with the IPO.
