Based on the amount of old people who were protesting at these things it would not surprise me. It does look like a genuine post.

What I want to know is WHY there are so many old people at these protests?

i dont doubt that the protests are full of boomers. i doubt that these boomers are posting on reddit about it.
at most, old farts like that use facebook and whatsapp.

Boomers hate their kids and would rather give everything they have to brown people that hate them than give their family a single cent. They believe being deprived of cheap workers they can mistreat and exploit is a human rights violation.

I don't think kids should be given any sort of iphone device until they are at least 16, or even 18. A PC I think would be fine though because at least then they can learn how to actually use technology.

I feel like most parents dont even understand how bad it is. Even sites that technically don't allow "pornography" have  plenty of gratuitous nudity (and yes, nudity is in the same class of problem) if you know where to look. Frankly you can actually find pornography there too if you dig deep enough. CSAM and lewd images of children as well

Thats the real issue, and while I don't necessarily want pornography banned, or require some government ID, I really  hate this whole "oh well guise, can't ban it and giving ID access is dangerous, our hands are just tied," mentality that seems to be so pervasive. Like if your kid wants to find explicit material, and is determined to do so (as all teenagers are), then short of constant surveillance, they will find it. There has to be a middle ground between "mandatory ID to access things" and "oh well can't do anything."

I think they're just bored in retirement. Wanting to relive the glory days of the 60s protests or vietnam war protests or whatever.

I think the platforms have to just, y'know, give the tiniest fraction of a fuck. Facebook perpetually pushes what is essentially softcore porn in the reels. YouTube too. We've seen how thorough roblox is. Steam has hardcore porn games on the front page - and I think the censorship argument is specious. We know there's a difference between, say, Saya no Uta or Katawa Shoujo and Lust Goddess or Anthro Heat. The sophistry about what is porn and what is art doesn't need to permit the furry harem porn games.

These kind of people literally never extend that logic to any other thing they disagree with, so Occam's Razor would say they actually think kids seeing porn is a good thing.
Oh, we also have many of these kind of people on record outright saying this, so... yeah.
 
Frutiger Aero zoomers keep on insisting that sunny weather and grass next to skyscrapers is a part of their aesthetic. There's a lot of photos like this, either titled with their coordinates and name of the landmark or "This building is so FRUTIGER!". Sub is r\FrutigerAero. They have a whole line of similar subreddits, and most of them either repost the same beaten image from 2010 or "aesthetic" themed trinkets to consoom. Why can't they just appreciate an aesthetic normally, or create something?

All the "this is the future they promised us" posts really are just from people mad that popular aesthetics have changed since when they were young(er). Cliche but true! If they created anything of their own that wouldn't be much of a problem, of course.

I'm 62, disabled with heart failure and COPD and bad knees and a limp and a gunshot wound and I got a bumb eye and there's a crick in my neck and my asshole itches and my back is doing that twitching thing that kinda tickles and my wife got prostate cancer and my dog runaway with my tractor and I got a tear in my whiteclaw
