So this is why reddit became infested with pajeets, eh? I suspect all the people in india saw this and thought, "I can scam these people, yes?" Like, the "I'm broke until next week and have no food please help" posts on local subs have been getting more common too, I had a hunch these are jeets trying to scam every buck they can.

To say nothing about how india subs are beginning to make it to the front pages on popular. Goddamn what has the world come to? You open one of these posts to give it a change and every reply is:

Akjss fjshau eoriwnz fudua djswo djdjwk

Dnsue sha desu disiwwms fifosjwn wksjdhn andhdwj s smsmsjs dkdjs

Like don't allow foreign speaking subs to rank on r/popular when you're a US company with a US audience. Spaz is an incredible fag that needs his asshole raped until he's bankrupt and sucking techcock again like the good ol days

Reddit strikes me as a progressive version of the Twitter honeypot, violent calls for actions stay up for a long time and there doesn't seem to be a lot of actual humans posting, a lot of commenters reply with suspicious timing and don't usually reply. Almost all of the social media sites are in really bad bot situations, but Reddit by far seems to have the worse bot issues because Twitter's botlike posts are from jeets farming premium monetization.

Correct. Those that aren't bots are still not human, its mostly pajeets. This is why you'll see India subs climb high up on r/popular during USA internet traffic downtimes (weekends are a big one.) Also common to see retarded shit that jeets love (cricket) making the front page these days which never used to happen.

Spaz is desperately trying to make reddit traffic look authentic so his stock won't nosedive. Reddit, like most social media, is dead. Its all corp bots and jeet click-farmers.

I recently was looking for a certain out of print book. didn't find it on libgen or the usual sites, nothing on google , but there was a thread of reddit were one redditor replying bought it for like 200$ , scanned it himself and left a link to the pdf. in one of the discussion comments.

Shit like that is the only case use for reddit that isn't just farming cringe. I also check back when some piracy site is down and stuff like that.
There are a few subs in niche hobbies and subjects (non-porn and not computer or game related) that have replaced the older web forums so it does serve real communities that aren't degenerate freaks.

Biggest problem I've seen is the influx of scammers (jeets) pretending to be into said hobby either to pump up traffic for Spaz's stock price or because they intend to scam. In the old days on web forums we used to see "spam" attacks from Russia but now India is the one invading our spaces and stinking up the place.

What i don't like about the reddit format it that it easily turn into "look guys i bought THING" posts, like you said it lends itself for bots to just market something and not discuss it. Reddit became too well known for hostile neckbeards so now brands keep it on a tight leashed with a mix of astroturf and trigger happy mods.

Yup, its flooded with salesman these days. Theres also something to be said for the older style forum/msg board thread format that Reddit can't capture. Reddits system is cool for news, current events, random odd stuff but its terrible for on-going topics. If I'm building something like a house and I want to have "Crackersandfleas house build" I need to have it stickied (unlikely unless its your sub) or the topic will get buried and is impossible to kick back up if I have an update a month after posting.

Spez ruined it. He brought about the sales era of Reddit, canned the staff that did cool stuff like arrange the AMA posts with celebrities (that weren't staged) and everything I've ever heard about him makes me like him less and less.

I don’t have a screenshot to offer, but r/ShitLibsSay decided that they are against Poland’s anti immigrant rhetoric because god forbid Polish people don’t want illegals being dumped at the border or in their towns. I said their outrage is no different to libs, so they all decided to downvote and block me so I had no way of being able to reply.

Because they end up pulling shit like this when they do: https://bydgoszcz.tvp.pl/87554663/klaudia-z-torunia-zaatakowana-przez-obcokrajowca-nie-zyje

TLDR; PhD student walking home at 1am got stabbed by a Venezuelan who ran out of his apartment with a weapon, fought for her life in hospital for 2 weeks before dying. The murderer is facing life in prison.

Her boyfriend in the USA was talking on the phone with her when it happened and originally posted asking for help on r/poland.

Some people are incapable of assimilation. And people who “mock” libs are too afraid to face the reality of that. They want open season.

The Vance Boelter story left the news cycle quickly because it's not 1963 anymore and nobody gives a shit about dead politicians, they caught the guy relatively quickly, and it happened right before the Israel-Iran shit kicked off. The Idaho shooting left the news cycle as quick as it did because "retard with a gun" doesn't generate as many clicks as it used to, and because pretty much everyone unanimously agreed that ambushing & shooting firefighters is a profoundly degenerate thing to do. Not everything is a fucking glow-op to MaNUfAcTUrE CoNsENt for the American Fourth Reich.

If I sound a bit MATI right now it's because I kinda am. I remember a while back ITT there was a brief mention of /r/redscarepod and how it was one of the few left-leaning subs that wasn't completely insufferable, and that was true for a while, but ever since the election it's been astroturfed HARD by pearl-clutching shitlibs. The same people who were making fun of Dementia Joe 8 months ago are now unironically nostalgiaposting about his presidency. Other than not every post there being political, it's indistinguishable from /r/politics at this point. Guess I just feel a bit foolish for ever thinking there may be a few redditors left that aren't terminally online propaganda sponges. 🤷‍♂️
Boelter also said he shot them on orders of Tim Waltz, don't think the dude is all there.

Lesbians getting turned on by Tim chalamee is like straight men getting turned on by cute femboys. Simultaneously dubious but also somewhat understandable. 🤔
