The issue I have with reddit is its too popular to ignore, like Facebook though I can't fucking stand it. I'd rather go back to the early 1990s when I didn't have easy access to what millions of assholes think.

r/girlsgonewild and the like, are basically proto-tinder. A girl posts some hot pics, gets an ego boost, and then has 100 pm's to pick and choose whichever is the hottest guys available. Some escorts and camgirls who frequent certain local areas also post under those places as a form of advertisment.

Reddit's servers are being shit lately. For being one of the "top social networking sites," it impresses me that it's owners have no fucking clue how to run a website and also try to make it look like they're autistic with the most annoyingly dumb anti-spam feature.

So medical students in a white majority nation are mostly Indian and Asian, but medical students in Caribbean nations which may have a substantial proportion of Indians and Asians are mostly white.

No wonder Reddit is getting confused.

  • First and foremost, even if this person was trolling, look at the amount of upvotes they got. That's scary.
  • Oh, and if you're confused, Islam does indeed frown on dogs and as a result many Muslims want nothing to do with them. It's sad, really. Dogs are called Man's Best Friend for a reason.
  • Lol, I love how "better integrating Muslims" includes giving up dogs... which completely contradicts the concept of integration. To integrate Muslims into Western society, you need to get them to accept or at least tolerate dogs, because dogs are basically universally loved by Westerners.
  • And if anyone (Muslim or not) demanded that I give up my dog to appease their religious/cultural/personal preferences, I'd laugh and tell them to fuck off. That's the rational response to people trying to force their preferences on you.
  • "In the future they [Muslims] will be the majority and if you didn't act or behave in a certain way then its off with you. I would better not be in that situation and be seen as a helper by them when hateful little maniacs like you are getting what they deserve." Lmfao, this person is flat-out admitting that when Muslims become the majority they'll enforce their Islamic laws and imprison/kill anyone who violates them. OP wants to be a good little useful idiot so he won't get murdered by the Sharia Squad.

Muhammad was a cat person. Imagine a dude founding a religion where he basically looks at dogs the way Voidburger does, and he demands all his followers do the same. But of course like every other religion, of course its tenants find ways to make exceptions or say "well, I can't believe he would really think that," (like Malaysians seem to do). It's not like they have a Pope who lets Catholics know when God's Terms of Service has updated or anything, so that's why there's so much disagreement on the matter of "are doggos gross? Y/N?"

And I mean I am cool with Muslims and all, I have Muslim friends, but in a hypothetical scenario where I would have to give up muh pupper in exchange to "better integrate them," I'm sorry. The choice is clear.

Muhammad was totally a cat person, and that's pretty much the biggest reason why cats are held in high esteem in Islam whereas doggos are looked down upon as "impure."

Although, actually, a few months ago I came across a fascinating explanation about why Islam frowns upon dogs. Dogs were sacred to the Zoroastrians, a formerly widespread religion in the area of the world that Islam came up. Seriously, just read the article I linked; those people fucking loved dogs. Anyway, when Islam took over, one of the ways they discouraged the practice of Zoroastrianism was by discouraging dog ownership and regarding them as dirty animals. There's even cases of Muslim Iranians in the 9th century purposefully abusing dogs to taunt Zoroastrians. Well, actually, there are accounts of that happening in the late 20th century.

If Islam didn't have to contend with an older, popular religion that held dogs as sacred, I doubt those unusual Islamic "laws" about dogs would exist. But anyway, I'm extremely suspicious of any ideology that deems dogs as filthy and impure and not suitable for human companionship. Like, fuck off, dogs are better than people.
