Man reading some reddits like degrowth, late stage capitalism, collapse, and similar spaces is pure jet fuel tier doomerism. These people are often exceptionally mentally ill and reliant on government subsidies to stay alive but want nothing more for the entire world to come burning down.

Is this what end stage nihilism looks like? These people are cheering for an end to civilization, even though it will lead to them dying lol

That's the idea. These people hate themselves and everyone around them, yet their fear of the void they think is waiting for them prevents them from actually going through with suicide. That's why they worship death and misery: it's the only "escape" they can imagine for themselves.

They claim they want to kill the system, yet freak out when they read some biased news about Trump crashing the system. They don't want something new, they want to be atop of the system.

I haven't been getting many assignments at work lately (ruh roh) so I've been reading like a motherfucker.

One of the books I read was a zombie apocalypse story and at the end one of the main characters who is a shitdick enjoyer and one of like only a few dozen people left alive in the entire world laments that he can't help repopulate earth because he's gay.

This is literally and unironically how redditors think. Their bullshit very special snowflake "identities" are more important than society, more important than the fucking survival of the human fucking race.

The selfishness and narcissism of these people is so severe that it is almost incomprehensible to normal people.

Reddit humor came from 2010s quirky LOL random kiddieslop (some help from tumblr) until it and twitter merged via Tumblr in 2018 into the seething hatred wearing a mask of maturity despite surrounding themselves in colorful kiddieslop in a cutesy pseudo-anime artstyle.
They call edgy racists "immature" and say shit like "Uhh, racism in 2025? Middleschool really be wildin" despite surrounding themselves in far more childish and colorful shit like FNF TADC Hazbin Hotel Murder Drones Deltarune Undertale FNAF etc.

A mass culling of redditors is required if society is to progress in any meaningful way.
These fucking animals will drag humanity kicking and screaming into an infinite abyss of depravity and moral decay while smugly scolding us and bleating about how "Its for your own good." When you look at a redditor the only appropriate response should be a deep sense of instinctual revulsion and violent hatred. They are human shaped animals, undeserving of pity or mercy as they are exterminated.
