I think those are the most self-aware posts i've ever seen on leddit. The one by toothpastespiders is spot on. Same, and it's mostly because it's impossible as a parent to give each kid the same, adequate attention if there are 10+. In my experience (in the sense of people who i know with many siblings and how i myself grew up) five kids is already stretching it very thinly, especially if there are big age gaps between the kids. From what i've seen and lived too many kids in these families get forced into becoming second moms and dads, having to take too many responsibilities at a too young age. That breeds resentment down the line.

If you hang out with women regularly they will eventually tell you all sorts of TMI stuff, including their fear of letting dirty public toilet seats touch them so they hover- which makes the problem worse.

Also last I checked the GOP voterbase aren't the ones who have explicitly claimed that we should draft a new Constitution and that the men who wrote the original are just evil bigoted dinosaurs that were too stupid to imagine that someday guns might fire more than one bullet per minute.

It's this one. The reason why many Redditors claim Reddit isn't left-wing is because they have been so thoroughly radicalized that any dissenting views (the vast majority of which has already been purged btw) being allowed to speak at all on the site means it's not left-wing to them. They literally want a Bluesky Reset Era type hugbox where no other views are allowed. Allowing people with differing worldviews from them makes it not left-wing.
