In the olden days you were supposed to confirm a DMCA claim under criminal penalty of perjury. This is why you need to put a real name (of yourself or your lawyer) on the claim.
Obviously now with automated systems, you can just blackmail major Youtubers with fake DMCA claims. If their channel is on the 2nd strike, coughing up 10k will be much cheaper for them than loosing the channel for a few months and hiring a lawyer.
