I am genuinely starting to think that the fact that my kids can cook and clean on their own is unusual for their age. The amount of people that I've run it to that are their age, Hell, even close to my age, and they can't cook or know simple tips is crazy. Christ, we had a neighbor that was collage age years ago. One day we see smoke coming from her apartment window. I go and knock to see if she's ok and I hear the fire alarm. So I went and called the fire department. They came a busted down the door, and found that she had left a pot of soup on the stove on low while she went to go take a swim. SHE DIDN'T THINK THAT ANYTHING WOULD HAPPEN BECAUSE IT WAS ON LOW!! She got mad at us for "freaking out".
Conveniently they ignore that the entente's belligerents were primarily the British, French, and Russian empires which two of which were ruled by a monarchy. That's not even getting into the fact that the monarchs were related to each other by blood.
