I know it's been talked to death about, but if I could just get in one more word on the extreme cock and ball mutilation: it is very gross, but I've been much more disturbed by standard rekt/gore videos, or even something comparatively "mild" like gymnasts bending their knees the wrong way.

My initial reaction to that pic was moreso disbelief than anything else; I wasn't exactly sure of what I was looking at, so it was hard to have the kind of guttural response of shock and disgust. It's just such a completely alien and unrelatable kind of viscera that it doesn't bother me as innately as a lot of other shock pics, even if it's more "extreme" on paper.

Exactly, first it was the wincing you get when you witness something like someone taking a big hit to the crotch or in the eye. It's so far beyond absurd it results in more of a profoundly confused "what the fuck". And then the questions began.

They... Have never listened to any of the showrunners talk on Sleepycast, have they? It's bizarre how Zach, Chris, and Co. Seem to have escaped the usual terminally autistic scrutiny these types do to anyone who is even tangentially related to the media they consoom.

I don't know if the above persons necessarily liked Charlie Kirk, but they would surely be appalled upon being aware of beyond the pale disgusting shit like this, as anyone with any kind of soul or humanity in them would feel the same.

For people not aware Sleepycast was a podcast that co-creator of Smiling Friends Zach Hadel was a part of in the early to mid 2010s. There was many very edgy jokes, n bombs and even Zach revealing he owned a vintage Hitler youth dagger and showing it off. He now has an audience who would literally crucify him for these things and it's pretty bizarre.

I think it's a case of something getting so popular that the usual crop of parasites doesn't care and wants to make it their own, regardless. They see that they can ship Charlie with Allen and utilize characters for political clout, extending beyond the creators' original intent. They cannot oust Zach from his own show, so they choose to ignore his history to pretend that the cartoon supports their beliefs.
