Doesn't the change only limit the number of subreddits with more than 100K weekly visitors? They should still be able to moderate as many subreddits with fewer than 100K visitors as they want.

Most Reddit accounts don't have usernames any more. All I ever see are the pre generated ones. No one is sticking with Reddit for very long any more.

It constantly amazes me that people who are this dumb somehow command such obscene amounts of money. I guess this explains why /r/all looked the way it did, they'd probably happily ban all these weird TDS accounts but they can't do it without purging like 1/3 of the entire userbase.

The time to sell reddit was probably a decade ago. Nowadays the only people who would pay for it and the accompanying legal headaches and controversies are really shady Indian data brokerage firms or the moron that owns Bluesky.
