I like how reddit will constantly make psa posts to people who will never see the thread, and likely don't even use it to begin with. They're just bitching about strangers and pretending they're just spreading helpful info or advice.

Redditors are so frightened by life that they need hand holding to read a book. For context, this is not a horror book, and calling it a thriller is a stretch. It's about people who are incapable of friendship.

I struggle with sex scenes in books, even vague ones, where one character is not enjoying it/doing it for the 'wrong reason' and I need to know that after the first one will there be any more? Will Eriko go through with what Maori is asking her to do? This book has been full of triggers for me so I am definitely considering putting it down but if Eriko continues down the path of having sex with/kissing men just to not feel lonely or to comply with Maoris request I'll need to drop it (especially if it reads like the first scene where she describes it ‘hurting like hell’), so please don't worry about spoiling it for me. Tried to google the answer but of course most spoilers are directly about Eriko and Shokos relationship.

Honestly I don't mind spoilers anymore so if anyone feels so inclined to answer don't feel like you have to be vague, I want to read this book but I need to know what's going to happen to do so (hopefully this makes sense).

And if anyone has also read butter please feel free to let me know if that may also be an issue for me

Transnistria's current situation basically forces them to be self-sufficient, so they need to have something of an actual economy to avoid collapse. Those southern regions in Moldovia are likely populated by impoverished farmers who survive entirely on government gib me dats.

I was reading the sub /r/urbanhell last night and the discussion somehow landed on the poor in America and a commentor in ESL Jeetspeak was trying to say how it was a terrible thing America didn't have a real welfare state like "civilized countries" and "most of the rest of the world" which is absurd on so many levels I can't even begin to describe. 1,000,000,000,000 (trillion) annually goes to welfare in the US in America btw. 134 different federal programs. But yeah we just hate the poor don't we?
