It's been floated by mods of other subreddits they targeted. I think they did it to the MDE sub first.

I didn’t archive unfortunately and did not want to stay around because I don’t want to see child porn but saw the discussion posts in real time, the mods of r/averageredditor were removing as much child porn as they could. All of the recent posts yesterday on the subreddit were about this brigade, I was going to go back once the brigade was over but r/coomer and r/averageredditor we’re gone when I woke up. r/consumeproduct is where some refugees are at and against hate subs is trying to brigade them next.

Even if they are using TOR browsers through 3 VPNs, if the FBI is investigating this, they will eventually be able to trace where the posts are coming from. They have done it on the darkweb already.

That was a huge and long-standing sub as well. It wasn't some smaller discussion sub like r/coomer, it was pretty much a mothership sub that housed all of those edgy Joker memes and the kind of audience that would partake in it.
I'm guessing Reddit is gonna try ban all of the 'Based Subreddits' in the lead up to the election huh? I wonder how long r/consumeproduct is gonna last, because if that falls it seems like r/average_redditor (Based version of r/averageredditor), r/cleanlivingkings (basically /pol/'s /sig/ as a sub), r/bombstrap (MDE affiliate but to avoid the association its associated more with Bombstrap than MDE), and r/smuggies (as the name implies) are the last bastions of Based Reddit. Oh and you have long-standing and quarantined subs like r/debatealtright, r/darkenlightenment, r/altrightchristian, and r/theredpill still around and those may as well be taken down by Reddit at this rate.

A lot of them for some reason view themselves better than /pol/ and 4chan. So I'm guessing it's just another Reddit vs 4chan rivalry?

I mean this meme does bring up some arguments albeit its dated to 2018 when the original r/milliondollarextrene was up.


Plus also just plain ol' stubbornness and the sense of stickin' it to the jannies. I don't think Based Reddit will ever truly die. They seem to be mostly refugees from /pol/ ironically so they still have some autistic drive in them to keep on going, making new accounts and subs as much as they can. However I think eventually Reddit will come to a point where they might consider IP banning or something extreme.

Oddly enough, it also seems like the Based Reddit community has a weird alliance of sorts with the 'TERF' community on Reddit as well. r/gendercritical was a sub that was just as visited by Based Reddit users as much as RadFems. Of course when they visit GC they have to 'take off their shoes before entering the house'. I think what Reddit is trying to do is to try kill off Based Reddit before they move onto TERF Reddit to shoah them.

^I'm surprised r/gendercritical is still on there since it's basically a terf sub. I feel like they're going to try and come for r/drama next and that's why they lock everything up and ban half of the users.
