"I know I'm in the right, so I can plant CP on subreddits to get them shut down"

What a sociopath, besides, who in the fuck just has CP laying around on their computer just to spam people with? I really wonder how many of these people are really a spiderweb of pedos giving other pedos a leg up under the guise of "fighting the nazis"
I know I'll get a black hat for this but I sincerely hope Bardfinn goes to jail for hoarding and spreading all this CP around.

If MadThad can get arrested for allegedly 'hoarding CP during late 2000s /b/' can you imagine how much more fucked up Bardfinn is in regards to how he obtains it and uses it?

The fucker is literally weaponizing is fetish online!

I always thought those were dangerous. You're giving out your name and address and tying it to your reddit post history. I bet a lot of right-wingers have been doxed over that.
That's true, but honestly nowadays you can dig a name from anywhere. Twitter, insta, etc. That's why I scrub my name clean.

What would he use in court a son a "legal defence" then? "B-but your honour inusingbit tonown deh natsees".

There are several subreddits that I go to now where every post starts off with:

"I don’t give permission for this to be shared anywhere."

Now, I know the reason is because there are several Youtube channels, and quite frankly journalists, that just collect funny Reddit stories and repost them for views.

Still, I don't think this is how fair use works. You can't just say "nobody is allowed to use this!"

Then again, I'm always fascinated by the number of people that think that discussing their public social media is somehow an invasion of their privacy, whether on Reddit, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook page, et cetera. Usually it's a response that amounts to "Bad man criticized me! He's a stalker!" Still, it's hilarious that people think that public statements aren't subject to public criticism or else it's "harrassment".

I can see it for those YT channels that basically exist to read Reddit posts in exchange for adbucks.

Especially if they were to read stuff from a creative-writing-oriented subReddit, I could see that being a more legitimate shitstorm than "WAAA! People were laughing at my transition photos!"

It doesn't work that way. They can fuck off.

Here's Reddit's TOS which like almost every other such platform, clearly states:

"When Your Content is created with or submitted to the Services, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, copy, modify, adapt, prepare derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display Your Content and any name, username, voice, or likeness provided in connection with Your Content in all media formats and channels now known or later developed. This license includes the right for us to make Your Content available for syndication, broadcast, distribution, or publication by other companies, organizations, or individuals who partner with Reddit. You also agree that we may remove metadata associated with Your Content, and you irrevocably waive any claims and assertions of moral rights or attribution with respect to Your Content."

Facebook does this too (Facebook is more extensive). Releasing material to the public in this way is, with or without a TOS saying so, granting a license to the public you released it to to comment on it however they please, including quoting it, not that you'd need such permission in any event.

Where's the joke? Is the joke that you're a sad-sack who wants to vent to random people about your bullshit?

That's not a joke. If people want to see some sad bastard spill their guts they'll go to the several thousand places tailored specifically for that not to a meme subreddit. Also if you are so weak willed that you actually think watching anime has 'stunted your social growth' then you'd probably be stunted by seeing a bee fly by you during spring. Take responsibility.

The joke is that this brand of memes is retarded. It's the equivalent of the "when u kill nigs" meme about some memes being way too long.

You're not supposed to read the whole thing.

Didn't even read the whole thing just the first line and bailed out. This "joke" stinks on ice and I'm not wholly convinced this is a "joke" being used as a sad, sad, sad cry for help.

I think it's the latter. The text of that meme is the most second-hand embarrassing thing I've seen in at least a year. God help the young fellow.
