I cant understand why these people hate country/conservatives so much? I cant think of anything that they have done to warrant such vitriolic hatred. Its like a they think these people are inherently evil and can do nothing right cause even if they do it was with bad intentions in mind. Its a mindset that exists all across reddit to a varying degree.

They think every right winger is a night of the rope /pol/ loony who wants to gas the Jews and hang anyone who doesn't suck Trump's dick every waking moment.

Reddit has a weird way of creating an echo chamber. Its not so much they hate conservatives/ are those who live in the country its more so they hate everyone that don't believe in what they do and because they spend so much time in these echo chambers they are able to act as spitefull and vitrolic as they want and atttack as many strawmen as they want or need too.

The subreddit is clearly ironic. The ones arguing against them don't understand that though. They genuinely believe that the subreddit thinks all gamers are nazi pedophiles.
so they basically believe Gang weed memes unironically? looks like gamers are finally rising up...

Hollywood and NYC has demonized them for near 75 years in all forms of media, and continue to not only routinely do so, but it is practically a requirement. Garbage go in, garbage come out. Many of the non-American posters there probably only know extrametropolitanian Americans as Deliverance-style caricatures.

god i hate the way redditors talk, they have the stupidest and most annoying lingo anywhere on the internet
Twitch is almost as bad. Peepee poggers, widepoopoo Weirdchamp random fucking emote from before I even knew Twitch culture existed. It's like that Star Trek Tng episode where the aliens spoke in metaphors but more fucktarded.

Twitch "culture" uses emotes. It's not that WeirdChamp is itself the thing users are trying to get across, it's the image of Gootecks with a look of disapproval on his face that people are sending through chat. It uses a browser extension to display it so there is a minor barrier to entry to effectively "join" in on Twitch chat culture.

It's no different from us using our emotes and reacts.

Is it me or has reddit seen an influx of leftists since Donald Trump got elected? I recall there was a universal hatred against r/politics to the point where users who subscribed to it were seen as scum and you see large subreddits containing highly upvoted posts that mocked the far-left around 2015.

Anybody with the wrong opinion gets banned and moves to voat or a chan, and there's multiple DNC shill companies like MediaMatters and ShareBlue doing gay ops across the site. Assault Trannies have been taking over subreddits and bending them towards the left, even non political subs.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Reddit will be seen the same way as 9gag is in the next few years. You have unfunny seething ideologues taking over the site and the site is already seen in a similar way Tumblr is with the whole Reddit Moment meme becoming more of a thing.

Clinton bought the /r/politics subreddit during the election and the election of Trump caused the corporatization of most of the others. The propaganda just spread site-wide from there on in.

It's actually interesting to bring up the fact that /r/the_donald was actually the largest community on the site by a wide margin. Conservatives made up a huge proportion of the website's userbase and its most active contributors, but they were banned from so many places that they were ghettoized.

https://www.reddit.com/r/AmItheAssh...ita_for_publicly_revealing_who_my_biological/ Too much to cap, you better give it a look.

Story should be taken with skepticism, but situation described in it is a twofold one, no arguments. Of course the center of attention here are the comments rather than the post itself. There is enough and dumb crap, and reasoning, however, most of those who jump to defense of the parents are giving an eyeroll minimum.

Can someone explain why wanting to know about your biological family is a crime all of a sudden?

My view on this is that OP pulled a dick move, but anyone who has a brain and was given for adoption or not themselves understands that people who went through adoption take such situations differently. "OP is in black, parents are in white" and "they have a right to kick you out of their lives, so don't disturb them, duuuuuh" mentality many of these cunts from that topic posses is just utter bollocks.

It's not so much an influx of leftists as a mass expulsion of anyone but outright commies.

I'm not sure this fits the thread. I mean, this is an AITA that actually poses a complex moral question.

Typical Reddit is just fishing for asspats and promoting degeneracy.

The comments are something though.

Sorry about that if so. I thought this thread is for bullshit you find anywhere on reddit, given that it's full of it no matter where your nose goes to.

Well, redditors despise children, so it's not shocking they'd take the parent's side.
