Yeah, plus the amount of pedos and other forms of degeneracy are protected by the site itself or by other groups just makes reddit dig it's own grave faster. At some point Reddit will be replaced by another website which will go through the same cycle

I've seen a lot of these kinds of posts on the more political subs, where a user explains how he/she completely destroyed their once-solid relationship with a loved one over politics, to the point where they can't see or talk to each other anymore. And its not limited to the left or the right, these people can be on any side of the political compass.

I've been in this kind of situation, where someone I care about a lot expressed a political opinion that I found very distasteful, but I chose not to argue with him over it because I valued my relationship with him more than my political beliefs. I wonder what that says about me, maybe I'm a coward and these people are brave Chads who don't compromise.

Stumbled across this person who believes he increased his height to 6'11" by occult spiritual means, and also "lost an eye in Vietnam due to a fight with some kids over a rare baseball card quite crazy"

No disrespect taken man, well I'll try to sum it up without it being too long, I wanted it and went for it with everything I had. Thought "Don't focus on the past, rather focus on building a new reality" So I did, and over much much much research on how others did so and many forms and techniques of Loa I came up with simply 1 live entirely from the end like I already am that tall (I used pointers like, being 6'10'' is taller than most doorways so lucky me I always ducked under doorways to show the subconscious and universe that there's been a slip up and that I am that tall ya know) 2 be as happy as humanly possible as muh as possible so feelings and emotions can make the process quicker (mostly by just directly pointing those fake it till you make it emotions which were real towards my new height) 3 visualize as much as possible while decreasing importance of it/want of it so comic effect and excess potential don't catch me and make it a longer process. I basically just lived in that reality and made it my new one by staying there in my head and out of it for so long. And the reactions were priceless they actually lined up with what all my visualizations said to me. Things like "You were not that tall before wth" And "dude you've gotten taller than me how tf" Even teachers that were like 6'7'' I would use them as visualization dummys, walking past them feeling and believing that I was taller then them and eventually hearing "You got taller than me wow" Was amazing. I don't remember how long it took but it wasn't more than 5 or 6 months I'm sure of that, it might've been even like 3 idk I tried my best to forget the idea of time so no worry would threaten my reality. That's bout all it

Edit: I find it funny how Reddit's reputation has shifted over the past few years. The meme used to be that Reddit was a right-wing cesspit, with some comically racist and misogynistic subreddits. What actually happened was that reddit banned or gutted all the "right-wing" subs, and only the left-wing spergs remain. Still a cesspit.
