On a lighter note: I think this post sums up one of the things I hate about reddit. Only a fucking redditor would think that accidentally pouring too much pepper on something is interesting enough to justify taking a picture and posting it on the internet. Literally who gives a shit? Just blow it off you fucking pussy.

The point of the post was probably not so much the "my horrible luck lol!" but more of a read-between-the-lines humble-brag: "I can cook a burger. Proof. Who's not doing uber eats this meal? This guy!"

It's crazy stupid klandma even became a thing, since forwardsfromgrandma turned into a circlejerk of raging at right-leaning political posts on any social media website, regardless of if they were even posted by the elderly or not, which basically every subreddit based around sharing social media posts is these days. Redditors are so obtuse. Glad to see that they're eating their own again.

Holy shit, the hypocrisy is of the charts - they even ADMIT that Jesus being played by a "pasty white guy" would be racist, yet a White British queen played by a black woman is somehow okay?

Then they try to go even further how she COULD HAVE BEEN black. Wtf? How could a British, medievel queen from a White family, with White parents, be Black?

And then they just try to excuse it with "movies are racist, so replacing whites with blacks is great and vice versa is evil"

I've never seen such pure hypocrisy in action jfc

I just can't watch shows with historical themes that have ill-placed minority characters, or when they cast someone who is vasty different than the original historical character... Unless there is some obvious fact-based reason for them to be part of the story, I will turn the show off. Even the blue-eyed character in Memoirs of a Geisha pissed me off-- although that was based on a book with the same ridiculous character. The depiction of older Henry the 8th in the Showtime series pissed me off, too-- he was seriously obese and hideous by middle age.
Tried to watch some spinoff of Sherlock Holmes recently and had to turn it off when they had the main character-- a girl-- doing kung-fo in a whalebone corset after having been taught the practice by a black female kung-fu master. The whole premise was so ridiculous, I just couldn't watch it any longer.
