I fully believe r/menwritingwomen and r/mendrawingwomen represent the core attitude of reddit: Pretentiously look down on the work of others, destroying any point you may have had by presenting your opinions as fact, or by showing just how little you actually know about what you're bitching about.

This is specially visible in r/mendrawingwomen, whenever one of the regulars posts their work it's usually ridden with the most basic mistakes not even the most uninspired coomer bait has.

I don't disagree with any of the criticisms people here make about r/menwritingwomen, it is absolutely full of wokies and have-to-be-literal-autists that only understand a vague formula of badly written women, like they have an alien understanding of the concepts of narrative and fictional characters and are eager to post whatever they think fits their autistic formula for sexism so they can get internet points asap. But I think the sub idea makes sense and they do actually post awkward, funny bad writing pretty regularly - which makes it so funny on how wokie and autist they are because that stuff could word for word be taken off troons. I'm surprised there's been no low-key gay ops to drop writing and social media postings by trans people in there and watch the ensuing autistic hurricane.

That sub and r/PointlesslyGendered (which I feel like would also be prime for some lowgrade gay ops of the same kind) seem like antithesis to troonery that bleed irony in their popularity on reddit.

Was there some weird admin or mod pact some time ago, or did r/drama going private all the time actually keep it under the radar? I'm under the impression they banned pinging because of bardfinn incidents and I've seen vague posts about bardfinn getting removed, but despite ending up on finn's shitlist enough to structure rules around him, I rarely saw him ranting about r/drama on AHS in the time I spent on Reddit.

The moderators of r/drama seem to have had special rules applied to them by the admins about linking to reddit itself. So it's interesting that AHS is now finding that they can't link to reddit itself.

I think, personally, that there's a war going on that might have unexpected casualties...but the war has already seen some soldiers killed on the field. God rest their mighty souls.
