Same. It's amazing how much they pat themselves on the back for it as well. You see it on Childfree especially but it is prevalent all over the site with people talking about tying their tubes or getting snipped and being lauded as heroes.

It's amusing how the mere mention of abstinence made coomers seethe, but besides that, the point was that it seems odd to protest abortion by refusing to have sex, yet a sex strike would technically the logical response to an abortion ban. But they think it's supposed to mean anything? What will the government lose from people having less sex? Less children? Even then, is the point of the sex strike is to avoid unwanted pregnancies that would ultimately end in abortion? I'm genuinely trying to wrap my head around this lunacy. It's like protesting against smoke-free zones by not smoking.
 
Please correct me if I'm wrong here but can't women just get an earlier abortion? If I were the victim of rape or incest I would want that demon baby out as soon as possible anyway, why wait 5+ weeks?

Because you claim that if you can't raise it nobody else can (even though you clearly don't), because unless the life is heavily supervised by some government entity it has zero chance at survival anyways?

Thinking everything is set in stone and nothing can be left up to chance or free will, when you yourself already took a chance and got an outcome that you feel is personally undesirable is very hypocritical

Literally removing yourself from the genepool for very arbitrary reasons is why evolution will always chuckle in the background.

Sometimes a woman might realize she's pregnant late, it really depends on the woman. And even then, the majority of abortion mostly stems from the mother's inability to care for children, may it be career or hedonism the lack of freedom.

It's backasswards (in my opinion), but the first day of pregnancy is counted from when she last had her period. Even if you got pregnant within the fertile window of about 2 weeks, those 2 weeks you were not pregnant are technically counted as being pregnant in the eyes of a doctor. Cycles are 4 weeks long, so that gives you 2 weeks to put the pieces together and consider that you're pregnant. You can get a positive result when your period is due. But for a lot of women, they don't have exactly 28 day cycles. They might have 26 or 32 day cycles. Someone might go 30 days without their period one month and then next month, their body makes up for it by having their period at 26 days. Women could genuinely have a week to schedule a pregnancy test, which is where I think the main concern lies.

Over the last 2/3 years i have become convinced that these social media companies like tik tok and reddit are more compromised than any of us really know, and they are being manipulated by chinese overlords to influence westerners and degrade society.

I respectfully disagree, though I do agree that it is annoying when a field goes overly hugboxy on tolerance and inclusivity. I personally don't care what color or gender my coworkers are as long as they are not coming into a space and preaching to everyone else about how they need to kiss the ground they walk on. If someone shows up to do a job and does what they need to, then they could be from Pluto for all I care. I just don't care about being told how Plutonians should be treated like emperors because Earthlings did some shitty things.

There are jobs out there, such as nursing and tech, where there is a large discrepancy in genders. I cannot comment on nursing because I fit the mold for it, but I can comment on tech because I fit in that minority. I just would rather be treated like everyone else without someone treating me like I'm not here to just break things.

I hope that clarifies my position. To be clear, people coming into a field for inclusivity asspats can fuck right off. My stance was more on thinking someone must be worse at their job because of a feature about themselves that they can't control such as skin color or gender.
