Oh /r/thedonald was completely overmodded yes they had to be since every single person on reddit wanted them gone. There was famously a mass purging of the old guard mods who founded the place many of whom had came from /pol/ and had less politically correct views so they were all banned and demodded shortly after the sub started getting big and replaced with more PC guys who would scrub away any meany 4chan racism. Mods went above and beyond to enforce the no racism and no anti-Semitism rules. . They tried for a long time to get in the good graces of Ledditors (Why the fuck I don't know) by upvoting token minorities with MAGA hats and were just seen as neo-nazis and then thrown off the website. I remember it being very clean to the point where it went from /pol/'s slighly mentally challenged little brother to like, a boomer hangout.

All while this was happening places like /r/chapotraphouse and other fringe leftist subs got to post actual calls to action and violent shit that they accused Donald Trump of inciting in his following. I'm pretty sure chapo only got deleted in the end because so many people were saying violent shit it was bad optics for Reddit as a company so they threw them off. The mods and people in charge were completely fine with the hundreds of calls for blood in the streets when leftist extremists did it.

That's a shame. But, most of reddit is full of retards, so not surprising. Visit any fan sub for anything ever and it is a descent into cringe Hell. Even for things I really enjoy myself, like Final Fantasy 7, the subs are unbearable.

The reason I don't use Reddit. I am 60% sure that all posts are karma manipulated somehow because there is no real difference in a post that has 5 score and one with 500 score and one with -5 score and -500 score. It's just human groupthink applied to the internet. Groupthink helps us blend in with our surroundings, have good manners, and copy those around us but it has it's downsides like Reddit behaviour and bystander effect. If I could get something to under -5 score it should deteriorate down to -50 from there. I am pretty sure someone actually tested this in a study and was able to successfully manipulate redditors into supporting and not supporting things. Or at least I hope it's groupthink or these people are stupid or have no actual moral foundations. Politics is how we interact and live in a society. Redditors don't have politics. The Redditor version of politics is whatever arbitrary thing that they like one day will be enforced and what they don't like will be banned without reason to why thing XYZ is good and ABC is bad.
