As I mentioned in the Arkane Studios thread, the Austin studio is closing down. The DLC is never coming out and people who bought it will get some form of credit or refund.

It was initially reported that the game would not be patched again, but it looks like they are going to do one last patch so there will be an offline mode for the game:

My guess is they didn't want to patch the game anymore but someone ran the numbers and figured out that adding an offline mode for the game is cheaper than keeping the servers running.

The base price was dropped from $70 to $40 when this patch came out. Redfall is currently 50% off on Steam for the QuakeCon 2024 sale.

I played a few hours of Redfall in single player mode on the latest patch. It isn't the broken mess it was on launch anymore, but it is still a boring below average shooter.

Huh, they actually made sure to give it an offline mode before fucking off into the sunset? Credit where it's due, I half expected the remnants of Arkane to want this steaming shit to vanish like a fart in the wind instead of letting it remain smeared and petrified into the carpet for all to see.
Shame it wasn't done for a better game, but progress happens in small increments, I suppose.

I only played a few missions when I had a free month of Goypass on PC earlier this year.
