Because tumblr radfems (and tumblr ~radicals~ in general) rarely engage in actual politics or even discuss these things in person. These people read a bunch of academic texts and books and end up taking things out of context and applying them in ways that aren't even remotely helpful or world-changing, like explicitly telling people they're not allowed to listen to them because they white or male or whatever. Tumblr lets people choose who to listen to and who to block so it's fundamentally an echo chamber where people just parrot each other and occasionally yell at other people for "invading" what they consider a "safe space" for their whackadoo opinions.

The white ancestry could be a few generations back, such a grandparent or great grandparent on one or both sides. Genetics can be really fucking weird.

Her being half and half does make sense if she really hates her white parent and is ashamed of being only half black. So she overcompensates by acting like a militant.
