Hey now, how come RLM can't do what they want and criticize middle aged manbabies that pretend to be nerds by going to conventions created and sponsored by one of the largest corporations in the world? There's nothing totally fake and manipulative about those at all!
You know if Collider wasn't r.etarded they would just do a counter video making fun of RLM by making them look like no fun nit picker autists or some shit. That way when they say "We can voice our opinion" they won't come across as hypocritical niggers fucking with RLM for voicing their opinion on Collider.
It only makes them look ass mad, and loses any good will or validity they may have had.
Also no new Star Wars media came out past 1998 I have no idea what they are arguing about.
This is true, but they aren't even close to capable of pulling it off. I'm sure they know they're out-gunned when it comes to anything but sitting in front of microphones and fellating Disney.

This is exactly why Nerd Crew is such brilliant satire. Thank you, Red Letter Media, for continuing to be a bright star in my life.
Also, nobody is saying that you can't be a passionate fan of something. Mike fucking loves Star Trek and wears his nerd badge proudly. RLM is just making fun of the obnoxious hype culture these days (such as endless speculating and crying over trailers). They also make fun of commercialized/corporate "nerd culture," where people are basically paid to hype up movies and show off overpriced merchandise. In fact, the event Mike was making fun of that triggered Collider was a Disney-sponsored Star Wars event; it's not like it was an actual fan convention.
>Makes his living pretty much leeching off of hype culture.
>"Don't steal my content!"
It will never not be entertaining to watch shills sperg out whenever they're told they're shills.
The Nerd Crew videos are fucking brilliant, and I had never seen any of the people they were parodying. Is there a backup link to those mashup videos with Nerd Crew and Collider videos? I want to see just how bad the Nerd Crew's inspiration got.
I'm impressed RLM made it this far without drama. We can only pray that Josh is utterly destroyed and his small shrimp penis is photographed and put on the Internet for all to see as a result.
I'm sure they were parodying a lot of podcasts and not just the Collider. They were talking about the generic formula that these nerd cult pods do: dumb reviewers, people fetishing symbolism, constantly jumping to conclusions, the overtly friendly (but shallow) relationships that the hosts have and the constant company asspatting/shilling.
The way the cameras are set up are in the generic "podcast video" way with props and other items, My Brother My Brother and Me have the same similar layout and they don't do Gentrified Nerd Culture shit.
Collider felt singled out because they RLM unintentionally hit them on the nose with The Nerd Crew.
