Regarding the apparent and imminent repeal of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act and the future of this website.

It's less the CP and more the freedom of a place where truly anything goes. You could say whatever you felt without walking on eggshells, OC was left and right, memes were cute and happy like O RLY owl or LUL WUT pear instead of just passive aggressive bait using wojaks and pepes to simulate the person you're mocking, it was just a very different time.
IMO, /k/ was probably the board with the most anons who kinda-sorta seemed to have their shit together (by 4chan standards). I could have quality conversations about guns there.

/int/ was fun because it's just a worksafe /b/ with flags, and I could fuck with Europeans by owning the retarded American persona.

/pol/ and /v/ were, in my experience, the true hurtboxes. The rampant contrarianism and hating everything just got dull.

Just move the servers to Albania or some shit lol
No cunt has the right to ask a man who has sacrificed as much as he has for an autistic internet community as Josh has, to make himself an outlaw who cannot return to his homeland to visit his relatives, because Trump is a gay retard.
Hopefully it won't actually get repealed but I'll miss this place if it goes. I'll also laugh my ass off when Parler and thedonald.win get sued into oblivion
Not to get all POLITICAL but Parler has a clause in their TOS where you- as a user- are responsible for any legal action pursued against them as a result of your poasting. Parler is also a project of the neocon Mercer crime family, who were also big backers of Trump- and, before they started engaging in some light criticism of Trump over his inaction on immigration, Breitbart.

Really makes you think, huh?

You know the feeling of seeing someone every day, not knowing them but still having them as a part of your life? That old man who lives down the street who you see walking the dog every morning. Then one day he doesn't show up and you realize why when you read the obituary. It's a weird sad feeling, and I'll have that with you guys.
This is a perfect way to describe it, even more so for the lurkers. I've never personally interacted with a lot of the users here but I lurk every day and not seeing some of the posters I've grown to appreciate anymore is gonna be very different for a while.

Don't know what I'll read to get sleepy at bedtime anymore but whatever it is it certainly won't be the same. As I said earlier in the year, semper fi to everyone. I hope this doesn't play out the way Null thinks it will.

i mean why would he not just close it down and open it up in a different name outside of US juridisdiction?
