Regarding the apparent and imminent repeal of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act and the future of this website.

The worst part is that the retards supporting 230's repeal think that "the internet" is just Facebook and Twitter, or that people won't also sue Parler.

I'd be fine with 230's repeal if it was just for publicly traded companies, or for websites with a certain active population, but it'll always fuck over everyone because people are retarded.

This sucks, and I definitely empathize with you on this matter. This is a fun community, and probably the most interesting form of social media that's on the internet today. When you do shut the site down, please don't sell any of our information.

And while Biden wants to repeal 230 as well, he won't have a big enough mandate and it'll take a backseat.
I am skeptical about this passing. Sen. Inhofe (R-OK), chair of the Senate Armed Forces committee, said he's going to pass a bill without the Section 230 repeal. The House Democrats aren't playing ball either. So I think the NDAA will pass and either Trump will backdown or he veto it and have it overridden by Congress.

As for Section 230 with President Biden … we'll get there when we get there. If he is going to mess with Section 230, he's probably going to revise it instead repealing outright, and only after a through legislative process.

And if I am wrong, well … so long, take care and keep your stick on the ice.
