Yeah, I get all the 230 stuff, but even without that (and yet again it looks like sky isn't falling in), there's deeper issues. Surely someone else could take the reins if Null wants to settle down? Which I totally understand, for what it's worth.

meh I didn't know any of you too well. And some of the people I did know left last year.

This is going to be another nothingburger. People here and people on reddit love doomposting and getting upset. The world doesn't change as quickly as people imagine it does. IDK how many alarmist "our society is disintegrating" posts I've read on here in the past few years.

Damn it. I guess we'll just have to hope that doesn't end up happening and that should this site survive, it gets passed from Null onto someone else who's willing to run it and would know what they're doing.

Here's an analogy. I'm a Trump supporter but Biden winning is not going to cause America to go off a cliff. At worst, slow decline like the past 20 or 30 or 40 years of golbohomo. No one is going to be nuking the internet.

American politicians somehow feel the need to shit on everybody globaly, no matter the party or decade. I guess it should have been always clear that this wonderful place can't last forever. I hope we'll have some more time. If not, I guess we get to experience the same as the jews after their revolt against Haidrian failed and Iudea delenda est.

Oh phew...I spent about ten minutes in panic/angry mode. Still a bit angry at the fact that Trump will keep trying and Biden will end up picking up where he left off. Blegh.
