You know what this thread is seriously lacking? TOOTS AND THE FUCKING MAYTALS.
Among other things, I will forever be grateful to GTA:SA for introducing me to the beautiful world of reggae.

 
As long as it's authentic dubstep with Jamaican roots, I'll allow it.

Speaking of dubstep, Skrillex DID do that famous song with my man Damian Marley.


I like Damian's solo stuff a lot more but this song blew up and a lot of people remember it from the DUDE WEED level in Far Cry 3.

This revelation has both made and ruined my night, thank you. Buju and the Banton Boys will always be a thing in my head now.

I've discussed this in the Food subforum before, all of the best Jamaican spots are in the ghetto. Stew chicken and curry chicken are my favorites.

Bounty Killer dropped a new song:

I like his dark and aggressive music, it's a way different vibe than most Jamaican tunes.

New recording of an old classic, Ken Boothe - Let The Water Run Dry

Prefer this to the old recordings, glad it was made before Ken leaves the earth. Old recordings were great performance wise, but audio quality is lacking.
