It is really strange to see what its like here sometimes. I lurked here for 6 years after I lost the login to my old account and had just as much fun reading the discussions going out without any pressing desire to have any I put.

A big difference is seen people post relies that are just images or gifs - which I'm sure there was a posted rule against doing that at one point because its a forum and not an image board.

EDIT: Null why did you change the alog hat to MATI? Its like the most organic term developed by the community.

Its fun watching the new users get bullied for being dumb, though. It usually clogs up whatever thread they were posting on but, man, is it worth it.

It's kind of like a trial by fire to say something goofy and be ripped on for it for a little while. That's pretty much how any genuine community operates and most people are only laughing tongue in cheek and will forget about the dumb shit over time unless that someone is thin skinned and cannot operate under any scrutiny. But usually people earn a few autistic stickers and adjust and settle pretty neatly into whatever niche they like on the site. There's a lot of users after all.
But when it starts derailing threads completely, that's the issue. When people just sign up because of the current big topic and don't understand what they're getting into, that's what causes the derailing.
AFAIK the invitation system works as an accountability to the person who invited someone too. If the person you invite is so insufferable they get known for it, then a moderator can see who referred them... Either that or it's just a way to show who's blatantly samefagging.

I have to admit I've been curious as to why there are so many pants shitting newfags around lately. My initial guess was literal gayops for Pride month but I think it's more Fuentes orbiters trying to defend their spic manlet king's (lack of) honor. Either way, less newfags is a plus.
