featuring threads attracts weens and shitty posters. once a thread gets featured it is almost assured to be shit within a couple hours once the bum rush of autism initiates in the form of low quility posts and weening the cow if there is contact info.

But how else are the early posters supposed to reap in those sweet positive ratings en masse!? You expect us to post good content or some shit? I don't think so!

Thank you. Agreed 100%. Half of the time now it's worthless.

I also liked the idea of a sliding featured thread system or something different to replace the current system.
 
The featured thread thing, while at first was good, has devolved into featuring baitposts and shit threads that usually attract enriched-autism and cause the thread to get locked. That or they inspire copy-cat threads by weens and tards in an attempt to get their thread featured as well.

Make the featured thread function automated.
 
Suggestion: Make every thread a featured thread, with a series of tabs or a scroll bar at the bottom so we can easily see the featured threads (all of them)
 
I agree with your points, but I bet a lot of causal members come here for the featured threads and don't look through the forums much. If we lost those people Null's graphs would go down and we can't have that, now can we?
 
What if we had multiple featured threads to dissipate the weening?

At the very least bar Community Watch threads from featured, as they invariably cause people to flood the sites we're trying to laugh at.
 
I just ignore the featured threads since they're all full of weens. It really is cancer.
