Removed Steam Game Flexpost - Flex your removed steam games

I have Bob's Game (The puzzle game minigame that Robert Pelloni actually released standalone) and it doesn't even have a steam page and Robert changed the boxart and icon to be closeups of his face.

A lot of these are just delisted.

Poker Night at the Inventory and Poker Night 2
Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition
Mark of the Ninja
Mortal Kombat Komplete edition
Sam & Max 101,2,3,5,6
Duke Nukem 3d Megaton Edition
Universe Sandbox Legacy
Deus Ex: Human Revolution & DLC
Need For Speed Hot Pursuit.

Aside from the Poker Nights, it's not really a loss for the general public.

I remember Mass Effect 1 and 2 being delisted from Steam sometime after EA pushed out Origins.

It seems like they decided to put it back on the store, so this is quite unexpected. I was fully expecting EA to force you into the Legendary Edition with no recourse to the older versions.

It was so fun for like two weeks and then they were gonna do some patches and we stopped playing and apparently they stole a bunch of assets and then disappeared lmao

I got Motor Rock, which is a carbon copy of Rock N' Roll Racing that some Russians made.

The only game i can remember clearly being removed from the steam store was Alan Wake and its DLC. I have it.
Good shit.

I got The Last Remnant. Rumor has it there's gonna be a remastered/HD Version, but no real news so far.

It's also absolutely fucked that the game punishes you for leveling. Enemies level with you but you need to continue the storyline to get better followers and gear. I get killed in one hit by a story boss relatively early in the game and pretty much soft locked the game, because the boss blocks my way to any town to change party members.

Thank fuck there are mods so the game plays more like a traditional JRPG.
The remaster that came out was ps4 and switch only, which makes why they removed it so weird.

Since it has come up a few times...

I really liked The Last Remnant. It definitely had some issues. But I would like to see that game's design and mechanics revisited.

Every once in a while, developers have to delist their games because of licensing issues or whatever, and they'll make the game free for a week or give out free keys, because you might as well let more people enjoy it before no one can. I've gotten a lot of random games that way, and I think a lot of Humble Bundle's giveaways are from those situations.

So I have like half the DiRT franchise despite not knowing what a rally car even is

I wanted the James Bond PC games. Sadly, they are gone and likely never coming back.

I also have The Last Remnant. If you're a fan of the game, you might find this old review of the demo funny (also sums up my experience with the full game).

I think the rarest delisted game I own requires some explanation. Scourge: Outbreak is bad Gears of War knock off from 2014.

However, I bought it when it was called The Scourge Project, which was somehow even worse than the original. It got pulled, and replaced with what was basically a remake that used the same assets.

Not delisted but region exclusive thats still registered to my account because I exploited something,
  • DOA Extreme 3 Venus Beach
I didn't know the DoA Vollyball games came out on the PC. I'm guessing it was only in Japan. How is the port?

8Bit Bayonetta
Was that an official game or a fan game?

Driver San Francisco is the one that I'm the happiest to have. Most of the other removed/unpurchasable games in my list were either superseded by newer editions, went exclusive to a different store, or were shit asset flips I got in bundles.
