Rep. Stephen Lynch Tests Positive for COVID-19 After Receiving Two Doses of Vaccine - Maybe he needed three

Lynch's office says that he did continue to follow COVID-19 safety protocols, such as social distancing and wearing a mask, even after receiving the vaccine.

A statement from Pfizer said that it can take seven days for protection from the second dose to kick in. However, the statement from Lynch's office said the congressman received the second dose vaccine before attending President Joe Biden's inauguration on Jan. 20, nine days before his positive test.

Lynch, who represents the state's 8th Congressional District, also tested negative for COVID-19 prior to the inauguration.

Congressman Stephen Lynch of Massachusetts tested positive for coronavirus after receiving his second vaccine dose.

"While Mr. Lynch remains asymptomatic and feels fine, he will self-quarantine and will vote by proxy in Congress during the coming week," Molly Rose Tarpey, Lynch's communications director, said in a statement.

Lynch is the second congressional member from Massachusetts to test positive for COVID-19 in two days; Rep. Lori Trahan, a fellow Democrat, announced her test result Thursday.

"A statement from Pfizer said that it can take seven days for protection from the second dose to kick in"...wtf. Seriously. It takes a week for a 2nd dosage to supposedly provide protection? Like...I suppose I never would expect a vaccine to make you immediately immune to a certain malady, but this just sounds like grade A malarkey. Granted that's been par for the course when it's come to the government and this virus.

On another note, all we know is that the Representative tested positive. Who knows if the test was BS. Hopefully it was, but that still doesn't make me any more enthusiastic about these "vaccines".

The purported effect of the Pfizer vaccine is a 95% reduction in the incidence of Covid. This guy doesn't have Covid, he just has viral RNA leaking out his nose. No one ever said the vaccine would stop you from shedding enough material to test positive, especially with the sensitivity of the PCR tests they're using. Maybe it will develop into Covid later--there are 435 Representatives, so if we vaccinate them all we can still get a handful of cases--but in all probability this guy is going to be fine. He will spend many more years in the House "serving" the American people.

From what I remember, he's one of the less shitty ones. He's a typical Boston Irish Democrat of the old school: corrupt, but not hyper-woke and seems to actually serve his constituency.

Vaccines are literally weakened or dead forms of the virus. Sure that isn't skewing the results of the test just a teensy bit?
In the case of the new vaccine ,they don't inject you the covid 19 virus rather some Arn transported by another virus/lipid nanoparticules.

A funny thing with those vaccine was that Autralians tried to create a vaccine using Aids to transport the Arn thus making all patient test positive for aids (not giving them aids tho)

It's a retrovirus delivery method, then?

For all intents and purposes, our (the Australian) vaccine was perfectly fine, but the risk of false positives killed it. The trial participants weren't adversely affected by it, they were doing alright.

This is how I understand the process, is this right?

Normal infection timeline: virus gets inside a cell and turns it into a virus factory, spreads fabricants -> exponentially increasing virus level, begin shedding virus to others; immune system starts trying "keys" to "lock" the harmful virus protein -> symptoms begin -> immune system wins, or covid does

Vaccine timeline: receive vaccine, which stimulates immune system to start making correct "key" for covid "locks" -> personal immune system dictates how quickly the new information is disseminated -> recieve booster vaccine shot (2nd dose) which does more of the same -> [hypothetically] contract sars-cov-2, virus gets into a cell and turns it into a virus factory, spreads fabricants -> immune system is ready and shuts it down quickly (depending on personal immune system), but Covid (the DISEASE caused by the novel coronavirus) fails to develop.

Seems to me that in the vaccine timeline, nothing procludes a positive 'covid' test.

It is a sad, sad statement when "corrupt but seems to give a damn" is the best we can hope for in politicians.
