I tried registering to shitter, but under no circumstances am I willing to give them my phone number. Whenever I choose email registration, I get to the point of receiving the confirmation code, yet, upon entering it, I get the vague message that "something went wrong." They do not even have a support email addresse to message them on.

Has anyone encountered the same problem? Should I just give up on that shitty website altogether?

Twitter is for fags.

Can you screenshot the error ?

Accounts without phone numbers are often locked right out of the bat in a totally arbitrary way and you can appeal that (it takes a few days to get processed though), but that's just after account creation, your problem seems to happen before that ?

Giving up on twitter altogether is the smart move here though that can't be stressed enough

I enter my email, get through the steps, receive my confirmation number, then enter it and get this:
722394

I only want to register because there are certain people I can only reach there.

If you use a script blocker, give it the relevant permissions.

Otherwise, just try again later.
