This didn't happen. The only tardraging this game had was over the PSN account requirement that they went back on. Its ironic because the first helldivers requires one and no one had a problem with it and all of the "concerns" the helldivers 2 tourists had were unfounded and never came to pass.

I wonder if there's any kind of feedback loop that would curb some of the excessive GloboHomo dishonesty/activism.

As in, devs tirelessly incorporating every bit of fake & gay feedback the Community Managers give them ("everyone loves the trooned out main character, make ALL the female characters fugly!", "too much toxicity, ban anyone who hasn't selected their pronouns or added a Ukraine-BLM-AIDS flag to their profile"), only to see game popularity, ratings, and other metrics keep plummeting.

I'd think that at a certain point, "all our fans are terrible and if it weren't for our DEI advice we'd be losing even MORE money" wouldn't cut it...

Oh I'm not talking about a wholesale rejection of DEI, I just mean the blatant excesses of these rampaging "Community Managers". It's one thing for a business to tolerate its HR DEI annoyances in between trying to get actual work done, it's quite another when you have people who are supposed to be the voice of the customer giving blatantly wrong feedback that pretty clearly makes things worse.

Surely there are business heads tracking metrics like player count/hours and watching them get worse after the CM's requests...then what?

It has that Forespoken quality where it's so utterly fucking absurd yet played completely straight, so you don't know whether or not the writers intended for it to come off as a satire or not.

I know that the whole "LGBT capes" thing that was requested by the usual suspects never made it in, but either way, it wouldn't make any sense for it to be in the game in the first place. Super Earth strikes me as the type of culture that would want to promote creating large families as part of your "patriotic duty," since I'm sure The Powers That Be in this universe need as much cannon fodder to send into the meat grinder in the name of "Spreading Democracy" as possible. Under that lens, taking the individualistic route of choosing to be gay would likely be seen as treasonous.

But of course, leave it to the "media literacy experts" to have that concept fly right over their heads.

People were mad because they sprung this PSN bullshit several months into the game's lifespan well after people got into it. Hundreds of thousands of people would have been banned from playing because PSN isn't available in their countries, you fucking brainlet.

Tranny capes wouldn't make sense in Helldivers because Super Earth's government doesn't give a shit about it's people. Any sense of individuality is stamped out or branded as treason. For some reason these retards who claim to have the highest levels of media literacy can't see that. The Earth Government that has no problem throwing billions of soldiers against a brick wall isn't going to let its brainwashed meatheads think for themselves.

The users have tried several times to cancel people just for wrongthinking for stuff outside of the forum, they are that obsessed. They even went that far as to try to cancel a user there because as teenager said one of the no-no words on facebook and wanted to report him to his employer to get him fired. I would think that the mods would be on board if not for the owners of the forum.

The anti-DEI crowd usually runs right wing and I've noticed that a lot more of them have actually read Heinlein's book compared to leftists, so they're probably more "media literate" about this game than this asshole.
