LMAO horseshit. Fake leaks also said Del Lago and El Gigante won't be in the game and Krauser is going to be a good guy. Rumors can't be trusted.
Leaks are very rarely ever true. Guys like Evil Blitz supposedly find a new “leak” for RE4R every day. A lot of these leaks come from 4chan, which only retards fall for.

Some of these “leaks” said Hunnigan would be replaced with Claire. Well would you look at that, it was a massive pile of shit.

Leon blocking a fucking chainsaw with his pistol is far more stupid than anything that was in the original, its amazing really. At least the crazy stuff from RE 4 had its limits so you could still take it seriously. It was a great balancing act. I legit think the remake will go to both extremes, being needlessly serious when it doesnt need to do but then having stupid shit that would be out of place of even RE6.

RE4 is a lighting in a bottle type of game, it SHOULD have failed all things considered but it just...didnt and its amazing for it.

You could take a giant statue of a midget chasing you seriously but someone blocking a chainsaw with a knife is where you draw the line?

What about the lava room that happens earlier in the game?

Giant stature of a midget that is in reality a automaton, is nothing compared to the absurdity of the lava room in the castle

I am legit so sick of seeing these faggots pop up on my recommended even after repeatedly reminding the algorithm I do not give a single shit about these clickbait farmers.

I do not trust anything that isn't official full stop especially when everyone wants a slice of the pie for this game, it'll just be more insufferable.

U can totally fight in a dress tho tbh plus its fucking fictional like damn.
The dress was always kind of retarded. She was wearing one in RE2 because the outbreak happened fast and she was supposed to be going out on a date or whatever as part of her cover. It being her default outfit, even into areas she knows are going to be infested with hostile bioweapon, was a dumb holdover for fanservice.

Still like it though. It better be an unlockable.

Kind of? I dont know how to explain it. Because we could handwave a lot of stuff to Salazar being a pompus prick and etc. With the chainsaw stuff, it removes some of the fear of the Dr Salvador and it makes you wonder what is that knife made of (and how the chainsaw doesnt force it off Leon's hands if anyone knows how a chainsaw works).

Its small things like that

Resident evil protagonists are basically mortal Kombat characters. The only reason they didn't do this same shit in the first three games is because zombie bites are contagious.

At least with OG RE4 you can excuse most of the crazy shit with it being proto-DMC. Nu RE4 trying to be serious but still retaining (unintentionally) goofy shit is going to probably irritate the fans that want a "serious" RE4 and leave old-school fans wanting.

I won't lie though, I like a more actiony Leon and if I'm able to pull off knife combos on ganados I'm not going to complain too much. Though that type of crazy action isn't really, or isn't suppose to be, what Resident Evil is all about.

Her Chinese qipao dress was fun too. And for what its worth I've seen women fight in it and variations of it in media. Hopefully its back in 4. I pray the game won't be entirely woke.

Unpopular opinion but I'll miss Sandy from SpongeBob as Ashley, no matter how grating her voice was. Can you imagine if it was Yeardley Smith? Pfft

I've always felt fondly of 7. It's short, but all the DLC we got was fun. The blackjack one was disgustingly fun and Jack Baker is my favorite pursuer type enemy. 7 really only lacked enemy variety imo and I still find it a top tier experience.
It was also quite short. A longer game, with more replay value, would have been nice.

I assume this remake is going to be way way shortwr than the original game, 4 was not only packed with content, but the main campaign is actually pretty long, being around 20 hours for a first time player.
RE2make was like 12-14 hours after playing with each character, and that game had a longer dev time, so no way RE4make is going to be much longer
I actually doubt this. Capcom got ripped a new butthole for removing content from 3. This remake is hotly anticipated, and Capcom knows that any content removal will be scrutinized to hell and back. What will be really interesting will be whether any of the extra content from the original game, like Assignment Ada and Separate Ways, or the Chicago Typewriter, will be included in this remake.

I just don't want a dozen obnoxious 'stalker' characters in the game like leaks and the trailer suggests. Mr. X is cool for a little while but not being able to put him down with some level of permanence fucking sucked but everyone else loved it so I'm sure we'll see that like seven times.
I don't think Capcom will do that. Nemesis was very poorly received and I think even Capcom realizes that stalker characters are pretty long in the tooth at this point.

they going to make loiuse the main bad guy (or atleast the final boss) and kruser will no longer be in the game.
This I think is pure bullshit. Krauser is actually integral to the story and the overall story of Resident Evil due to working for Wesker, who will almost certainly play a role in this game. Meanwhile, Louis looks like he will play mostly the same role he did in the original, going by the trailer. You can't change either of their roles without making massive changes to the story.

I enjoyed the Shadows of Rose DLC for what it was, but couldn't help being disappointed that they didn't bother squeezing in the lords at all. I would've gladly taken them reappearing once more and interacting with Rose over just doing a rehash of the Miranda boss fight.

I know I go on about the lords a lot, but they were seriously my favorite part of the game. Too bad I'm not interested in Mercenaries.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=eUBJSSLcIJYIt must've been a bitch to fit Resident Evil 2 (a PS1 game with 2 CDs) onto a 64MB Nintendo 64 cartridge.
Capcom had to basically invent an entirely new kind of file compression to get the whole game on the whole game on the cartridge, and they still had to cut out all of the FMVs. It was worth it though; by all accounts, the N64 version is the superior version.
