he always had that hair, he just parted his hair differently for 4.

Magneto man is just one of the main bad guys of 8, and probably the most Kino of the bunch, 7 and 8 are very grindhouse shlock.. in a good way, so the fact a Fungus gave a guy Magnetism is just expected, Resident Evil was never particularly worried about realism, but 7 and 8 completely flew off the rails and kinda saved the franchise.

Yes, but only one campaign is available right now and the second is set next year I believe. It's a little jank, but I'm enjoying it.

I got stuck on a puzzle a half hour which is nice, and not everything you interact with is painted yellow. Faggot fucking capcom.

So Leon Kennedy’s like forty-five now. He’s a federal agent, but still has the hair of a guy who’s mad at his stepdad. Lady Dimitrescu used to sing jazz until she hit her head on a chandelier and now she drinks blood. Her brother is like Dr Wily if he had a meth habit.

45 year old Leon finally grew his first stubble, lol.
Its also kinda sad.. he's one of the YOUNGER Protags in this franchise, their adamancy of shifting the timeline up with about modern times at all times has gotten sad, and makes me feel Old, this fucker was 21 in the first game, could barely just drink, and now he's Dad age.

Genuinely have no idea why they keep doing it.

Could have just said the game takes place in the year 19XX or 20XX and left it at that. Not like anyone gives a fuck what year the games take place in.

Now they're stuck with a perpetually aging cast of characters and seemingly no ability to come up with a younger crop of characters to replace them with.

Yea I don't know either. I thought RE8's DLC was setting up Evangeline aka Rosmary Winters as the protagonist of RE9 but they didn't do that and now we're getting a 47 year old man and a literally who character that isn't especially young either.

I mean I like Leon but eventually the old cast is going to have to pass the torch, Chris is pushing 60.
 
I'm more confused by the decision to make the split between third person and first person up to the player versus being a bonus mode or unlock or whatever. Maybe I don't understand their game design philosophy but it seems obvious to me that there's a significant difference in how you build an entire game when you are working under the assumption the player is going to be playing it with a certain camera view or not.

This is such a dumb decision, its the definition of making something for everybody and pleasing nobody.

The new RE movie isn't going to be a slow burn cerebral adaptation of zero. It's going to be in raccoon City and looks more like an action side story in the vein of outbreak.


It's being shot in Prague and there are photos/ reports of gunfire, blown up vehicles, and fake snow.

If the rumors I hear are any indication this is gonna be the last mainline RE before they reboot it to a new timeline or some shit. Frankly I enjoyed how everyone kept getting old as the memes are pretty great. An old man resident evil game wouldn't be a half bad idea for a way to maintain tension with an experienced protagonist.

It's probably because SO many people bitched and moaned about the fps Ethan duology. They claimed RE was ripping off outlast instead of gears of war like good Christians should.

Anyway, don't know if this is late, but the art they have in the digital store goes kinda hard

Barry is playable in all of one game, though, right? he's more of a meme than a character in this franchise.

Fuckin Ethan Winters is more pivotal and center stage than him.
the top are obviously Chris, Clair, Leon, and Jill, as they have the most playable outings, and both Jill and Chris even got MVC characters.
