DLC was just announced for RE8 and it’s clear it wasn’t planned in the first place lmao. They just flashed text on screen. The capcom presentation was bad, but this is E3 after all. As they say, it’s the summer of disappointment.

The first one was pretty fun, but the second one was Uwe Boll level bad, I never bothered with any of the others.

Here's hoping we get to see more of Castle Dimitrescu and Lady Dimitrescu herself as well as more Donna Beneviento and even Heisenberg.

Plotwise it isn't hard to imagine for Castle Dimitrescu, have it be about a servant girl who tries to escape the castle before she's made lunch, maybe Donna Beneviento's could be about her gardener and what happened to him.

I don't know what the story for Heisenberg DLC could be though.

Im just glad I didnt hear the word CHAOS at any point during the presentation.

By God, that Square Enix conference was painful. Doesnt help that its not the first time Team Ninja got involved with a beloved franchise and completly changed its characters and tone...It rhymes with Hetoid Gruter N.

Is it me getting older and hating everything in existence or is every E3 getting shittier and shittier?

It's E3. They've become more and more about pushing shit and talking about making games as opposed to actually showing them.

So much for claiming it was a complete game. Still, I'm tentatively excited after how good 7's DLC was. If they're smart they'll give us more content of the lords.

If I had to guess the dlc is most likely about Chris. Now what I’m hoping for is an Ada dlc but that’s really REALLY unlikely.

Man if it's just about Chris I'm gonna be so disappointed. Ada would be alright since I know they wanted to include her but I'd rather they focused on the village and its denizens instead of the BSAA.

Are there still people that keep falling for that lie? Thats why I dont play these type of games until the inevitable GOTY/Complete/Definitive edition comes out.
 
So I ended up watching the 2002 movie for shits and giggles and you know what? I enjoyed it. Oh im sure it goes downhill from here, but for an early 2000's videogame movie its not half bad. They got a lot more right then I expected with the sets and designs. The umbrella security team was cool, the setup was fun. If you squint it could theoretically exist with the games if you ignore the sequels.



Although, The red queen has not aged well, some of the zombies look a little too fresh and I was confused at the T virus being airborn at the beginning. Ultimately a fun little ride though.




Unintentionally Funniest moment for me, was when Alice starts neck snapping zombies and one of em looks like an regular dude

The intro was great with everything seemingly normal in a top secret high tech Umbrella factory and then all hell breaks lose!

All I remember is Alice waking up in the morgue. She's wearing a 'bedsheet' so skimpy, you have to wonder why they bothered covering her at all. She grabs a coat but leaves it open, with Trader Joe's paper towels covering her cooch.

The ending was great, not gonna lie. The theme song synching with the cock of the shotgun was an amazing touch.
 
Its mindless fun. Currently on Apocalypse. I spotted Scut Farkus from A Christmas Story minus his yellow eyes lol! Did not know Jill actress was British. She is doing a great job.

Annnd Alice just did that tarp shield thing. Can that really protect one from bursts of fire? Mythbusters lol. Dunno why Jared Harris is in this lmao.

Is Alice a Mary Sue? In a way yes. But she's cool. Ugh I think Milla should do an RE game. Not Alice but someone else. They could reference Alice, hell do another Wonderland reference.

The DLC should include Lady Dimitrescu and Ada Wong. I need it bad.

Sienna actually did her research by playing the games and learning how to aim her weapon and walk like Jill does.

This will become a theme. Short-changing interesting characters. Elevating bland ones.

Tbf at least she admits to playing them. Guess how many superhero actors don't bother to train or read the source material to get a feel for the character?
